I would steer clear of fitting a 235/35R19 as there are no tyres I know of in this size that meet the minimum load rating of 92 required on a Falcon. Definitely go for 245/35R19 as the 235's will be an illegal fitment. Also, for what it's worth, the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx won the tyre test in the May 2006 issue of Wheels magazine.

Hey asromanut and geomantik, I am in the northern suburbs as well (pretty obvious where from my user name). Did you guys consider anyone in the north to get your edit done. I am thinking of getting it done soon as well and wondered if it's worth considering Rajab or anyone else in the north. And one other thing people here may be able to help me with. Let's say I couldn't afford the whole custom tune thing yet, is it still worth buying the box for now and loading in the generic tunes until I can afford to get it done properley? Cheers Mark

No. The front spoiler is just the lower skirt that attaches to the front bumper. You are not buying the whole bumper with this kit. You will need to buy at least new headlights as well as the bumper on top of this kit to have the XR headlight look.

You can bolt the BF/Territory brakes straight onto a BA. I have done it to mine.

The only ute with this standard is the Super Pursuit. It is a $1,500 option on the Tornado along with the climate control.

Yeah I was thinking of doing the same to my car. Did you fit them yourself? If so, what is simple enough? Also, if you don't mind telling, where and how much did you get the rear calipers for?

You should also have a warning sticker on the B pillar visible when you open the front doors if you have side airbags.

I agree. My driver's side rear lock stopped working a couple of days ago. It's permantly locked, you can't open the door. Noticed it making a funny noise when I locked and unlocked the car. Luckily car is going in for 30,000km service today.

Correct, Mk1 GT's did not have climate control. Hey, but it's only done 400km!

I could not agree more. As you said they have upgraded the standard brakes on the BF now. I can't say I drive the car hard enough to ever feel the need for more brakes, however I am starting to get a bit of brake shudder on the car now at nearly 30,000kms. And worst of all in my opinion, the standard brakes on the BA's look crap. Too small, unpainted hubs giving it that rusty look and as for those bloody black dust plates, don't get me started! I have been looking into updating at least the front of mine with territory brakes. Ford want over $400 for each front caliper! Oh well, looks like the crap brakes will have to stay.

There wouldn't be much in it. Were the acceleration times done on the same day at the same place? If not, I would take no notice of the figures. The XR6 should get off the line slightly quicker with the lower diff ratio.

Damn that noise is annoying. Asked my dealer to fix it three times now, the last time they charged me $28 too. It's still there. Tossers. They do need it. I cannot believe anyone would say that by 15,000kms you don't need to rotate your tyres. I do the same checks on the wheels when I take mine in. If they haven't been rotated, I do it myself.

Looks great! Did you go from Ferntree Gully to Thomastown to get a nail removed from your tyre?

I didn't notice the flashing sequence with mine, but not long after I bought the car the airbag light was staying on. Took it back to the dealer and apparently there is a problem with some cars with side airbags. It was either a bracket or switch somewhere under the seat that was faulty or loose. They fixed it under warranty.
