Yep went out there but arrived a little to late to get on the track and cruise. It was probably for the best since there was four of us in a bog stock AU wagon daily. Was a couple of Lambos (one of them is Gup's) out on the track, they looked pretty slow from the hill between turn three and six. There was a WRX out there with some wicked understeer that the driver appeared to be oblivious to. Nothing else of much note really.

Hey mate, I know your broken box was standard and that needs to be rectified this time round so I'm curious what sort of modifications should be done to a BTR to keep it alive and reliable for a good period of time behind 325rwkw. It would be good if some guys with similar power in front BTR's could give some details about what you should get done. In the meantime I'll keep searching the site for info.

You boys mind an e-series tag along or two? I might be able to rustle up one other Falcon apart from myself. What about other cars, non-ford? They are previous Ford owners at least...

That turbo is huge, nice one. Good choice with the Kaaz too.

I got my car tuned on 98 (half BP and half Shell IIRC) boost and timing causing pinging became the issue that limited the power. I wouldn't jump to race fuels to mask that, just backed the tune off to a safe point and when I go to the track or skidpan I chuck a bottle of octane booster in for a safety margin. I will fix the timing limitations to fix the early pinging before the next tune.

The trick is to put the whole electrics from the B-series into the E-series shell, that way everything plays nice with each other.

Have these restrictions helped reduce the statistics? I'm curious, I haven't heard one way or another. I suppose they will put out some results since it is the new year now, if they haven't already.
