October 14th Stage 1.Meet at Windy point at 10.30 for a cruise thru Clarendon, Myponga Dam,Yankalilla and back to the Seacliff Hotel.( a food stop on the way?) Stage 2.Meet at Seacliff Hotel at 1.00pm and cruise to the Bay thru the city and suburbs back to Adrian Brien Chrysler/Ford cnr South and Ayliffes Rds for a bbq and drinks at 4-4.30 pm courtesy of the Adrien Brian Group.Space will be made available for cruise participants parking and display. People are welcome to go on both stages or either stage.Matthew Simmons at AB's Chrysler has graciously offered his assistance and more 300C's will appear on the list as they are contacted by him.Many thanks to Matthew.Both the Ford/FPV and Chrysler sections will be open at Adrian Brien for perusal.Should be a great day ! list so far. Interesting to note that Ford dominates the Saloon Car series.Although not the latest models -AU v VT is pretty representative of what a large percentage of the plebs drive,and it is a hard fought and entertaining series. Also of interest is that the top runners in the Ford camp are working very hard (literally hands on)to help the Expensive Daewoo runners become more competitive, because the Falcon has many inherent advantages over the Holden,the main one being torque. I think V8 Supercar will always have an audience but "Performance Car"should be the yardstick to truly assess the durability of a "production car" The Typhoon had its first run in Darwin at the Hidden Valley Supercar meeting in APCC and it aquitted itself well in the heat and humidity.I will follow its progress with interest.

......and theres another story.Those last Magna's are a great car.A good second car for the family?Very little goes wrong with them and they're cheap as- on the second hand market.Well built and a fantastic drive.AWD Magna needed more developement /evolution time but the market is too small?380 deserves to succeed but will it?

Had a look at a couple at Adrian Brien Ford in Adelaide on Saturday.Black with silver stripes and blue(like shockwave) with white stripes.Very nice package.Paint and finish is very verygood.No brochures available for XR4 at the moment.The salesman told me that all the first batch come with stripes but that following batches will have stripes as an option.Good luck with the new forum
