Just a question to those in the know is the ute listed above like more than 20K more than an XR8 fg ute with auto leather sports pac tech pac etc cause mines on order way sub 40k with a good deal of haggling just curious cause is a f6 20 grand better??? cheers utemad

mate before you get all excited selling it can you take a photo of the chassis setup on it cause I might make one out of my Fg Xr8 back if I remove it.. Is it heavy to push around ? more so tha a box trailer.. it just seems a waste to throw it when my box trailer is looking tired.. Wait and see a little bit closer .. I ordered my XR8 ute round the same time and its been bumped back another 3 weeks so far and it yet to have a confirmed dated just an approx on nov 7th to the dealer plus what he has to do.. I was told 4-6 weeks with the 6 weeks being the outside max but I guess when the guys are being sent home and only working 3 days a week what do you expect... I only hope they don't come monday or friday that way there will be no duds LoL cheers utemad

I am lost the ranger is a thailand import mazda with a ford badge stuck over the top I second this one.. we got a ranger diesel twin cab a few months ago and its super economical and has heaps of grunt for a work ute.. towed around all the tools and an 85okg dingo loader on a tandem trailer last week with no complaints.. if your going jappo ute I would definately get a newage diesel .. grunty and cheap to run .... would defiantely out tug a 2.4 triton and prob a 2.7 hilux too cheers utemad

They are getting high hey..... with that sort of milage you'll do a tank a day so it will only take 2 days to get your answer.. run a tank of each and compare cause everyone drives differently I know this casuse I never get as good as the others ... you should do well cause you wont be turning it off doing short trips like most cheers utemad

Is it the same turbo as the previous model just with 10 psi boost or is it a new turbo? cheers utemad

Finance(yes it was ATO compliant) and I know 2 guys who novated leased 1970s classic sports cars (TR4 and a 911), both through Macquarie Leasing. I guess the financier knows that residual won't be an issue! Funny my old man went from 911 to TR5 ... dont think most would know what a tr4 or 5 looked like these days cheers utemad

I think the answer is simple.. buy one like me and chuck the back in favour of a mini tubbed tough looking tray... Will work harder .. go harder .. and depreciate harder than my current ute... Cheers utemad

you can lease a car you already have provided you payout or get the lease company to payout the existing debt.. they arent interested if the vehicle is more than 5 years old usually and wouldn't be interested if the term were only 12 months.. you realise you can depreciate it anyway up to 22.5% I think a year if its for business use and you can claim the interest you pay on existing finance.. so where is the lease or should I say commercial HP benefit for you..?? not an accountant so if there is one out there feel free to correct me Re read it ... What are you aims for doing this and when you say your company are you I gather just a worker and not the owner.. Are you after novated lease or do you have a vehicle entitlement through the company? way too many variables I think discuss with your accountant cheers utemad

I have paid twice to have rear leafs redone on an au and ba and it was 500ish to reset and add 2 extra leaves that's without shocks as height stayed the same it would just carry more at the lowered height so I would be expexting to pay 800 - 1200 for front and rear with average shockers .. good stuff would be 1500 and up at a guess cheers utemad

Standard xr6T runs 10 psi too its in the press release on fords website.. Something about changes to the turbo too. they say the brand and I think model but I am not familiar with bf to know if its a different turbo or just increase in boost from bf 6psi either way I am waiting to test one again when its dry cheers utemad

Aaaaah missed that bit... Its gunna have to be a designer builder cause I have contacted all the mainstream ones and they are all junk.. If its cheap junk well that's different but if its getting into the range of quality then quality for a few extra bucks wins hands down.. I just dont see the point in a tray that wont do the job cause when your under the thumb and need something at a site you want it there in one trip and not two or three.. this is life and the tray has to hold up to be over loaded on occasions with no damage to it or the ute.. So if the ute is 1 tonne rated the tray needs to take 2 tonne not 1/2 tonne like a lot of the main stream ones Sides that bow in when you tie loads down and tailgates that bow out when you put a load on dont really do it for me cheers utemad

You guys must get up after the sun I gather to go to work... Power is great so are looks but nothing beats heated seats on the way to work.. you dont need to turn on the heater at all with heated seats nor do you need to pee as soon as you get to work after a 45 min drive.. you get leather that's great but heated factory leather would be the ducks guts.. You guys can have your 18's and 19's me and my 17's will fly past ya on sydney roads anyway LoL cheers utemad

Utes need dish the bigger the better especially the rears..I hate how all the stock alloys have zero dish cheers utemad

Yeah they are new right now but end aug early sept they will be more keen I reckon .. anyway knocked nearly 6K off a new ranger a few months back and 12 k off my trol ute 3 years ago 5k off a mazda cx7 two weeks after there release when noone would negotiate so there is room to play just depends whether they need or want the sale at the time .. ABN alone knocks 1000 off usually with ford.. so we shall see when the time comes .. you have to haggle hard with ford cause they offer so many fleet deals the market is flooded wwith people who paid way less than retail.. you can get 3 k off just by joining the affiliated building association... HIA gives to Expensive Daewoo electrical does mitsi from memory so they have the room to move cheers utemad
