  1. Damn it shows what I know
  2. Id say a boost leak, check your piping, Usually if your bearings are stuffed you would know as they seize up pretty quickly. Have a listen to the turbo when you turn the car off, its overly noisy you may have problems.
  3. Im with everyone here when I say that I hate the f'ers you do this to your car and never leave a note, but sorry Rusty XR6T while I do agree with how you felt but what you did was criminal and not much better than the person who hit the car in the first place, Just my opinion.I would have stopped at pulling off the tire valves, that would have pissed them off enough.
  4. I hear that the cv can be a pricey job, not sure if it would be easy to fix at home, Im thinking it may be the diff which went bang as if it was a CV you would probably get drive to the other wheel. Ive had a couple of mates who have wrecked the diff on their cars. Its a couple of grand to fix via ford. Which model car and is it still under warranty? BTW gramma lol
  5. Dude that sucks, Oh well maybe things start looking up. I think the best thing for you would be to do a full service on the Auto including a new pan and filter. I think the going rate is around 400-900 depending on what needs to be done. What ever you do dont let fraud touch it.

Did an oil change yesterday and after I drained the used oil out of the pan I noticed that there were very little specks of what looked like dirt but I dont think its dirt. The specks were all yellow/white and some where as large as 0.5mm. It was not metallic and it was very brittle (like dirt). I wish I had a photo. Could this just be gunk from the sump? The oil is always change every 5000-6000k's and always use nulon 10w40 except for the last change which was done by a shop using mobil Synth s or something. Any help would be good.
  9. Yeah I have them and have no problems except for the engine runs a bit rough when started in a very cold morning for a few seconds, but it may not be due to the injectors.
  10. g'day It a good place this
  11. Do these cars have a beep for hand brake?
  12. fuel pump may be on the way out. Or clogged fuel filter.
  13. lol it looked like playdoe when I first looked at it
  14. It could be a worn diff bush, mine does it sometimes too, and ive been told my bush was a bit shagged. Does the clunk come from rear?
  15. 80lb flows probably a bit too high, for the 300-350 mark keep with 42 or 60lb injectors.
  16. You may also consider that finding premium kit is harder to find in cars equipped with a manual as the more kitted BFs are with the ZF. (well it was when I was looking) Saying that, sometimes I regret not having a manual when going for spirited drives but the auto is more than capable of changing gears at the correct time especially in performance mode after 10 minutes of hard driving as it learns your driving and shifts accordingly. One major con is that after reading a few people having problems with their autos, it is very expensive to fix so keeping the oil fresh when modded is recommended.
  17. Yeah it would but you will need the BF ECU and the transmission to match. BF motors have that variable cam thingy which the BA motors dont. The F6 engines have the uprated rods aswell as the post 06/06 BFII motors.
  18. damn, my mates f6 did the exact same thing! Must be a bad month for diffs.
  19. I think your better off getting the better cooler so get the V3, the exhausts on these cars are not too bad, changing the cat will free up alot of restriction. Good luck with it
  20. Ouch that brings a tear to my eye :( Good luck with the rebuild. How much are long motors usually?
  21. ah what I didnt even think about that when I saw it!! Damn my dirty mind wasn't on!
  22. Your car stalled the battery didnt fail. If your engine is dieing at 5000rpm it may mean that the coil packs have worn out. Is there any struggling as it reaches 5000rpm?
  23. Get rid of those cannon air vents and it doesnt look too bad. I like the piano black trim.
