  1. picked it up on friday the 13th of aug (omen) love it does elevensise even with the tc on now have 500k on it and it loves the fuel around 16L/100 but who cares with that much grunt on tap for a standard car its worth it I originaly intended to by and 8 but they stoped making them so it was a turbo or Eclass 500 glad I stuck with fords.
  2. was at the dealer ordering a new venom (purple) 50th rx6 turbo with all the fruit and had a look at the orange, it is better in the flesh but it still looks like Gillards hair and I didnt want my new toy to be called a RANGA! I still havent made up my mind on the painted 19" wheels. The dealer could only show pictures as they haven't started the run for turbos yet, (expected mid to late aug)

Nu I will leave the engineering to the professionals but I was thinking of a boost guage, dual or quad exhaust to take advantage of the throaty growl the 4.0l has, trying to find sat nav to interface with the screen or adapting somthing to go into the back of the sunvisor. I learnt when Ba Mk1 turbos came out not to stuff around to much with the engineering or you will end up in the dealership with hassles and no warranty.
  4. hi all Just orders a 50th anaversery xr6 turbo, Viper auto with all the options (would not let me have satnav) Im an ex RAN engineer and worked for Ford as a Master Tech in sydney. Now teach heavy enginering and road transport for TAFE, I look forward to being a worthwile member of the forum and still have a contacts with the Ford guys for some tech infor so feel free to PM me for help (if I can) Old Fart
