  1. Before you go trading it in, talk to your mechanic about the possibility that you may need new valve springs imo.

Got some pretty good laughs out of The Inbetweeners last weekend. It's like a Brit version of Superbad, as a series. Not bad. Edit: I've been watchin' Nitro Circus dvds for years but never seen the show! Have to check that one out for sure.
  3. Gotta admire this guy's creativity and execution, regardless of your musical tastes imo.
  4. You're f*cking kidding me?! That was one of my favourite hobbies! Especially when you find something that people thought was hidden away... LOL
  5. Looks: Meh Funny: Meh In closing... Meh.
  6. Hey mate, I do a fair bit of site building at work. So feel free to hit me with questions if Itec is unavailable.
  7. It wouldn't explain the wastegate error code but you could be experiencing valve float? Is it a BA or BF? Any mods?
  8. Some of these stories are all too familiar. Worst one I've had in the wet was an impromptu 270º maneuver turning onto a busy 4 lane, inner suburban road, in peak hour traffic with 2 mates and me crammed onto the bench seat of the VS ute... The 2 douchebags next to me just started screaming when we suddenly had headlights bearing down on us through the pissing rain lol. Didn't help AT ALL. Only way to get out of it was to bag 'em up and complete the circle (intentionally this time) or risk causing a pileup... I can only imagine 20-25 drivers all shaking their heads in unison after it happened. Even though it was only a 3.8ltr, that car taught me a lot about throttle control. 0 weight over the rears + consistently bald tyres made it squirmy as f*ck on even a damp road. Come to think of it, it didn't have ABS so it taught me a little about braking as well. Still, both my major accidents (for want of a better word) were in the dry... False confidence, gravel roads and left lane burnout U-turns FTL. God damn I was dumb.
  9. Sorry if it's a repost...
  10. Pity you can't see her... gash.
  11. It's basically unwatchable imo. I'd rather paint a wall and watch it dry.
  12. Mine don't light up at all anymore. Is it likely to be a little globe under the shifter? Or could it be a fuse??
  13. ...Only took me 3 hours or so to work that sh*t out when I first got the car... Once you do it the first time though it all becomes clear.
  14. Haha, I had a few people tell me the same thing about a BF XR bar and a Hyundai Getz! WRONG!
  15. I'm just regurgitating here as I've never got around to fixing my driveline clunk but... I think the general consensus is that the crappy Ford parts are still the best option overall. There's an aftermarket version but it creates more noise/vibration/harshness and could possibly lead to the next weakest link failing (bolt or diff plate, can't remember). If you don't care about comfort and just want strength you could get the Fulcrum (I think??) bush, hi tensile bolt and Mal Wood strengthened diff plate.
  16. Looks tops mate. Nice work.

Regardless of whether you want the job back, I wouldn't take that sh*t if I were you. If you have a legal leg to stand on (I don't know but I reckon you should speak to a solicitor for sure) I would go for the throat. That's ridiculous and if like you say, he makes a habit of doing that to people, someone should stick stick his own contract up his exploiting ass (legally speaking). From my limited understanding, and correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think this would've been acceptable under Work Choices, if it had gone through?

This particular model has a camera on it mate. And I'm sure it would solve most of your problems. Seriously though, that's bull sh*t. Nobody should have to live like that. If you weren't about to have a child, I would suggest gathering up the boys and sorting the *beep* out, once and for all. But that's obviously not an option for you. Sad to say, but I would get out of there as soon as I could. :(
  19. I love the dude in the 9RAW footage saying "it was awesome" then smiling.
  20. My mate has an awesome Leica (sp?) camera and it's default is to take 5 shots ranging from -2 to +2. I suppose if you had a good tripod, you could just take the 5 shots manually, adjusting the exposure compensation after each shot. Difficult to do without moving the camera AT ALL though. A cable release would be handy here. I'm with ya man, I'm kind of mesmerized by any good HDR pic I see lol.
