  1. Have seen your car a few times Corzza as I work in North Ryde
  2. The rear or fronts only are fine as either receive full range when sub amp disconnected. The ICC has no separate tweeter output in any case. Hey jrjoz, did you tune with a laptop and I presume the Imprint ap? and if so what final "profile" did youy select?
  3. Looks good mate. Did you feed the high level signal from the front or rear speakers to the Alpine? I ran mine from the rear as it was a shorter run to were it's mounted.
  4. Ah, not quick enough. Cheers Ratter
  5. You can buy plugs to suit that are pre gapped. Just have to get the right part number
  6. I have the Eliminator shocks all round on my BF (same kit as FG I believe) and have been happy with them. I'm running Kings KFFL-57 (not sl's) on the front and removed the spring platform spacers to get the ride height I wanted. For the rear I'm using the Lovells springs atm - FRL-69SSL that came with the kit however find them a little too stiff (or maybe I'm just gettin old)
  7. Should do the trick. I have a pair of JBL 5 x 7's if you are interested.
  8. Tapping into the front speaker wires in the kick panels is quite easy. When I get a chance I'll get back with the wire colors.
  9. http://www.ebay.com....=item20bd05c7d6 If it's the megatronic plug that's leaking, it's included in the above kit.
  10. Ha, you were in lane 2 right? I was in 3 and you're not wrong about a slippery track. Could not get under a 2 second 60ft. Thought I was being clever and fitted Nitto Invos some months back - did stuff all last night.
  11. All good Quadie. You weren't wrong about 660 setup! Can be fiddly but have run through it a few times and it's straight forward. Good gadget to play with.
  12. I was in the same position as the OP not that long ago. Ended up with a PXE-H600 signal processor running off the factory Premo ICC, PDX-5 5 channel amp, Alpine 5 x 7 Type S splits front, JBL 5 x 7's rear and a Jaycar 10 inch sub mounted in the factory location (from underneath) Just have to line the MDF with some carpet and it's done. A big plus was retaining the factory look and controls.
  13. Nice work Jake. Just fitted some Alpine 5 x 7 type S splits to the font of my BF (along with an Alpine PXE-H660 and a PDX-5). To keep it simple I mounted the crossover under the dash and tapped into the factory door speaker wiring behind the kick panel. Saves having to run wires from the doors back to the tweeters.
  14. Cool - thanks for the info. Guess that rules it out them. Cheers.
  15. From the Winter Festival at Katoomba today
  16. Has anyone driven along Comleroy Rd from Kurrajong to Upper Colo? If so, is it in reasonable condition or a goat track? Been up Bells plenty but none of the side roads.
  17. Would be good for another night run some where. Got to make good use of the cold nights some how - for the car that is.
  18. Good advise above re the cooler. It's worth upgrading it before you get a tune as it saves needing a retune should you want to run a bigger one later on. You will therefore save money in the long run. I fitted a Rapid set up and still use the factory cross over and airbox - am very happy with the setup and results. Engine bay still looks relatively stock
  19. Just some more info for you, I run the X Force 4" dump and high flow cat. Everything after the cat is stock on my BF. With 60lb injectors, Walbro pump, big cooler and a tune, got 305 rwkw and have run a 12.1 No boost issues, nice and quiet when cruising (only slightly louder than stock) but sounds great when on boost. Hope that helps.
  20. Ha, used to see your old XR on the M4 from time to time. All the best mate.
  21. My BF had stalling and "shuddering" on hot days when talk was under half. Was the fuel pump

Ha, all good. Was more that I like bagging up the rears than anything else. Am looking forward to seeing how much of a difference they make though.

Had some 275/30/19 Invo's fitted last week. Off to WSID this Wednesday to hopefully get a much better 60" time. Have run a 12.1 on KU31's so see what happens. Only prob now is I'll be reluctant to drop a big burnout
  24. Got to see one of your runs whilst I was wating for mine. Nice work.
