  1. Looks like its done right. You could have also just pulled the vacuum line off the top and stuck a screw in it with a tight zip tie. And do not ask the "is a bov bad" question, ever. the answer is no/ yes/ maybe/ maybe it will make your car explode. Some say running no bov is whats caused global warming and kills baby penguins. Some say Turbosmart spread these rumours just to sell bovs. But IMO it doesnt hurt running no bov
  2. Its the same sh*t, just spread differently. +1 for liberal party.
  3. Henz replied to coz's topic in Driveline Workshop
Agree with Worm, the reason the box would have let go would solely be the 325rwkw. Mine lasted 18 months with 300odd rwkw its all hit n miss as to weather they last.
  4. Maybe your over-excited because you think you'll have ZF tuning, but that doesnt bother me I have a t56 So your ok with your tuner making a couple of hundred $$ for 2minutes work. I wantmore customers as nieve as you.
  5. Do you work for SCT or Herrod? Fess up.
  6. Yea cutting is no fun, and doesnt feel right. But that's the only way to fit a decent cooler (Except nizpro, and there long ass piping if u dont have there plenum.)
  7. Looks like it would sap power compared to your factory airbox, but im sure its loud.
  8. This is Rapids Biggest Cooler with PLazmaman End tanks, Had to cut the Beep out of sh*t everywhere to make it fit. Hits the airbag bar at top, stonetray at bottom, and had to trim left and right sides of the reo bar. You might be able to squueze a slightly wider cooler in if u go like a 76mm cooler, and push it forwards and trim more reo bar.
  9. Its easy as to make a dose pipe style setup, just need some basic parts from autobarn or wherever, but these arent good if your chasing power as the suck in heat. I think in a HDi Cooler thread someones put a how-to on Under Battery Intakes?
  10. Heaps more intake noise, and a bit of flutter when changing gears. Or block off your blow off valveto get it Doseing
  11. Go a 20& 22" Combo. I have a set for sale, 7 "of dish in the rear
  12. +1 Vote, *Beep* for Troll of the year
  13. Ive just always found SSI to Shocking quality and finish. Ild go the F6 Intake with a good filter, or one of these http://www.bluepower.com.au/cai.html Great product, a bit pricey but excellent quality.
  14. Your right, changing the cat will cause issues with limp mode, and the tune to remedy it will void warranty. that's still a decent price for a custom cat back fitted. As for SS inductions, I was always under the impression that a F6 Intake and a decent filter were just as effective.
  15. Im pretty sure X-Force make off the shelf kits for FGs now? But if the 1185 is for a Full Turbo Back exhaust (Wasnt sure what u meant there) that's a great price. And what makes you want the ss inductions box? there fairly pricey for what they are and the benifits they give.
  16. Also a stock T with a manual is faster than a Stock ZF from 60, 80, and 100km/h.
  17. Typhoons and anything after after 06/06 in the xr6t range have the same motors in the B range. Does that clear it up for you? The FG F6 motors have Forged pistons, and I think the fg xr motors are just the same as the 06/06 motors?
  18. Go the AU Ultralows, my little bro has them (with stock shocks) and has plenty of clearanceon 20s
  19. Go for the manual, solely for clutch kicking. An auto will never be as exciting as the t56. Not to mention if you start chasing big power the lack of tuneability, the high cost of rebuilding and no way of fitting a decent stallie. And in peak hour you can leave them in 2nd or 3rd and they still pull from walking pace.
  20. Just had a proper look, they'll fit, probably be pretty flush at the rear.
  21. Or you could do what RAPID did, chop up your stock manifold and mount a GT4088, throw in a cooler kit, injectors and tune
  22. Rolling the gaurds should only cost $50-$75 a corner, theres even mobile gaurd rolling mobs around, theres a bloke in langy that does it. But any panel shop can easily roll gaurds, or do it your self with a rubber mallet and a block if your game
  23. Wouldnt be more than a couple of hundred. Dont want to sell it do you?
  24. Anymore around at that price?
  25. Few more pics
