Thanks heaps henz Basicly after 06/06 all the motors were the same? Except the FPV FG series But the FG XR series all had the same engines as the 06/06 B series? I think I have it all now Cheers

ha ha ha ha 4000rwkw ha ha 400rwkw Ok guys I lied a bit in my post, as I was typing quickly as im at work. The car is a BF Typhoon R Spec T56 The car has been off the road for 2 years as its being fully rebuilt (repairable write off) The panel beater washed down the engine with a fire hose about 1.5 years ago, while the intake and exhaust manifold was off being powder coated. When the car was put on the Dyno for the tune, the engine was siezed due to the water in 5 and 6 cylinder. After alot of oil was left in the bore to try and unsieze the engine # 5 came out ok but # 6 when being pressed out (yes press out) cracked the lock. So I am needing another engine but dont want ta waste time or money searching for a FPV long engine if a XR6T engine has the same internals. I have been told the FPV has stronge rods and lower compression ratios. Any one with real speacs please help Cheers

Hi Guys/gals My engine is worn out on my BF FPV Typhoon R Spec. I am chasing another engine to put into the car, The problem im hving is the engine is putting out 4000rwkw's My question to the forum is, What are the differences between the FPV and Xr6t engines??? Also apart from the sum is there any difference between the xr6t FG engine ? Cheers

Hi Guys Once again playing with the car tonight, trying to connect my Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth car kit to my BA XR6T. I have the Genuine ford Boosted AUX kit installed with the extra piggy back harness (for mobile phone connection) Here is where my problem starts, as I was trying to remove the Boosted AUX harness 3 wires pulled out of the connector (boosted kit end) So I have been left with the black bridged wire still connected and 3 wires in my hand (Black,white and red) So know I have 2 problems, First Which colour wires go where in the connector (the connector that is on the kit end with small 5 pins) but is a 6 pin connector housing) Also does anyone have a picture or know which wires go where for the CK-7W Nokia car kit ? Cheers

Thanks for your reply mate I will be swapping boards in the next day or so, so I will let ya know what I find On a different note, if I have 4 rca cables coming from the board, what do I connect my sub to, as both sets of the rca leads are being used for the speakers? Any help would be appresiated Cheers

Hi Guys I almost goofed my first attemt to add rca leads to my icc assy. I have aquiered 2 complete icc assy's, my question is are the rca circuit boards interchangable with all BA and BF icc units. Everything looks the same, cheers Darren

OK OK OK OK far out got it all going again after alot of stress Guys be aware that when reinstalling the ICC assy, Make sure the fixed connector at the back of the ICC has been reset, As mine had collapsed causing the ICC unit not to make full contact. Make sure the white connector that is fixed to the main body of the car has been pulled back out so the ICC unit can drive it home correctly Few (had my wallet very scared) Cheers Darren

helppppppppppppppppp I think I have fu$%ed it! I spose that's what I get for looking after a baby and trying to solder. Here is what I have 1/ connect everything back up, and walla no icc display at all, None of the buttons work at all on the facia including the a/c controls. 2/ Car starts and drives normal, BUT I have no temp gauge, speedo, taco and some waring lights are on (traction control,temp waring, fuel light,and oil pressure light) Ride is a 04 BA xr6t with premo sound I have checked all fuses (all are ok) PLEASE someone tell me its just a reset thing or something (come on hopes are ok arnt they) Cheers Darren

The reason I ask is, on ebay yo always see xr6 xr6t xr8 and FPV dash cluster up for sale and sellers are always sayin hi or low series. I just wanted the knowlage as to what they were talking about So looks like I did ask a dumb question ha ha

What wattage kit would you guys recommend the 35 W or 55 W (as I see you can buy 2 different kits) ?

Is that a hi or low ? Or am I being a dumb ass and its just a xr cluster if so whats the go with hi and low ?

I have a 2004 BA XR6T with premium sound 5 speed manual (bummer about the T5) but that's a diffeent issue Does the stereo make a difference as to what instrument cluster goes into the car? Cheers
