If it did exactly the same thing with traction control on and then off, you have a problem. Be careful you can snap an axle. Arron

Have you considered the process west stage 2 as this will allow you to fit a plenum later. I have the nizpro drilled injectors and the car runs and idles perfect.If you go for the 4 inch dump pipe , it makes it easier because it bolts straight up to the cat which is a 5 inch body 4inch inlet and outlet. Is your car a bf 2 because if it is a BA you need to rethink your mods. Arron

yep transmax z is the stuff you want , its good for all late model ford manual gearboxes that take dexron 3, the advantage is transmax z is fully synthetic. Arron

It will be tyre or rim related , as it diminishes as the speed increases over 110 I would say its wheel balance, a dud tyre or a buckled rim. take it to a large tyre retailer and have him balance them. Or get a set of wheels off your mate and see if the vibration is still there. Then swap 1 wheel at a time till it comes back , then you have found the suspect one. Arron

in that case your right not to change the dump, yes I have a 4 inch dump and it is possibly set lower.

Get a custom tune with over 10psi and any vented bov and you will get the sound you want.

I have a 5 inch bodied cat , clearance is good, it all depends who fits it, you just have to slow down a bit over speed humps. why dont you just get a 4 inch dump pipe and a 4 inch inlet outlet metal cat, and have that tied into what ever exhaust you have. This will leave heaps of tuning options in the future. Arron

How long is a while, I have these tyres and so far they are great, no vibration at high speed, had my new set of 4 for 7 mnths and 6000kms about to put a new set on the back. anyone else had experience with this tyre Arron

You will have to tell ford exactly what you want them to do to your car, or they will park it out the back wipe over you filters and give it back to you.

The reservoir is the highest point so it is suppose to self bleed. If you think you have most of the air out. Leave it to settle overnight and then in the morning just move the clutch pedal a few mm in and out slowly and get someone to look in the reservoir , you shoud see bubbles coming up if there is any air in the system. This is the method I use for troublesome clutches on motorcycles. Arron

I think its park brake,do it yourself ford are useless. First release the cable adjustment so it is loose. Take off your wheels and rear discs, look for any spots that have been rubbing. Adjust each handbrake shoe set ,so the disc just fits on. you need to turn it as you either pull it off or put it on. The final adjustment is done through the hole in the disc. Use a screwdriver and turn the notched wheel until the shoes just grab and then back off a couple of notches. Do the same on each side to keep them even. Now adjust the cable so they start to grab and lock on about the third click of the handbrake. Fine tune so as to equalise both so they both lock on the same click. This should solve your problem. There is a trick to undoing the filter. One is a 19mm and the other a 14mm I think. What you do is position the 19mm which is on the filter against the body in the undoing direction. So as you turn the 14mm the 19mm presses against the body. if you still cant budge it hit the 14mm openender with a hammer or use a tube on the spanner to get more leverage.I changed one on a BA and it was so tight and the one on my EF was easy to remove. If I had just held both spanners in my hand I would not have been able to remove the filter on the BA . Arron

That sounds terrible, why dont you guys just get your wallet out and buy a decent BOV that makes the correct RICE sound you require?

A cooler thermostat should only be installed at the time of a custom tune ,the cooler temp messes with the fueling. Also the thermo fans come on a lot earlier sometimes and tend to have a mind of their own, so it looks like they are not only controlled by water temp.
