V8 Regrets
I driven a BA MK1 XR8 at the race experience thingo, got back in my car and I swear on the way home my stock T still felt quicker then the stripped out V8. Also raced a MK2 BA XR8 in my na supra and we were still side by side at 100kmph he wasn't too happy. If you wanna go fast the T is the car to get, the V8's sound horn but that's about it.

Sydney Street Race: Car Clocked At 220kmh
Lol my mum rang my sister up to see if it was her boyfriend as he frequents the M5 on his daily trek to & from work. What I want to is how did the audi get caught, like seriously if you are going 220kmph the cops aren't going to get anywhere near you just keep the boot in. I've never really seen the desire for freeway runs though they bore me, anyone can hold an accelerator flat. Go play in the hills even when driving at the posted speed limit its enjoyable.

Wedding Cars Oct 4 2008
You mean something like this: Did my cousin's wedding yesterday, 2 weekends combining close to 10 hours of cleaning & $80 worth of cleaning product.

Converting Manual To Auto
Probably cheaper to upgrade to a car already fitted with the 6 speed auto box

New Track Toy
race/rally one. Was doing a couple hill climbs a while back and they are riddled with cheap race only imports competing. There was a series 4 STI that had been brought in for $4500. A guy competing in a lightly modded EVO3 was only 1 second off a Targa prepped EVO8 TMR Edition with full cage semi slicks running 240awkw.

They're used to be an early 90's civic parked at the station I catch a train from that had a very *beep* homemade Nismo sticker on it. Always good for a chuckle.- The Off Topic Thread.
MMM Beer I had some Chimay last night 9% bloody strpng stuff- The Off Topic Thread.
Supra will be my daily this week, ford will not move until the wedding.- The Off Topic Thread.
Well I'm absolutey stuffed, spent the last 6 hours, vaccuuming, cleaning the interior, washing & polishing the Xr6, looks absolutely mint. Parked undercover ready for my cousins Wedding Next weekend. Will just need a quick wash and tidy up to be ready.- Gone To The Dark Side
you referring to the one on the left or right of frame- Gt-p Gooooonnnnnnneeeeee!
Yeah it wouldn't of happened if the truck driver was watching what he was doing . There are plenty of accidents where ppl are 100% at fault, I've narrowly avoided a couple of ppl turning right from the left hand lane of a roundabout in front of me & had those accidents occurred I would of had no baring on them what so ever. There are plenty of Ar$e clowns out there that have managed to get a licence and sometimes things just can't be avoided. At the end of the day it all ends in tears but as long as no one gets hurt we move on and build another car.- Holden's New Concept Coupe
BS, the Monaro was first showed at the 1998 Motorshow which is 4 years before the BA was released I'm mutual between brands I must say, more so I bought a Ford because I didn't like Holden's offerings in my price range oand the only decent one the SS was alot more then the XR6T for insurance. I support Expensive Daewoo on race day but drive home in a ford- Eastern Creek Power Cruise 2008
Yea it was the red one. Couple of rotors had close calls with the wall as well. One even had hatch open as he spun and stopped a foot from the wall . Great comedy act that one.- Eastern Creek Power Cruise 2008
You talking about the VU or VY SS ute. There was one in the drift event that tank slapped the portable barriers they put on the edge of the track. Was also a KE55 Corolla that did a stupidly large power skid but failed to stop at the end of the straight, ran through the trap along the wall and the car was close to a foot narrower on the passnenger side.- NSW Spotted Thread
Went down to the gong on friday night for a cruise with a mate in his newly finished mini, aparts from scoring a splatter of kangaroo on the car spotted these. 7-8 Cop cars in maccas 4 highway patrol including unmarked red VE SS & some general duites. All their for the 1am coffee break. Excuse the dodgy mobile phone pics at night but it was all I ha don me:stirthepot:- Eastern Creek Power Cruise 2008
Anyone else go. Towards the end of the day this rock up on a trailer. Talking to the owner/driver who had just gotten out of hospital 30 mins before with tags still on bruise few cuts and a broken leg but somehow no neck injuries. Was doing a powerskid on friday and the right rear wheel sheered all the studs off half way up the straight. Have a look at the drivers seat:eek: Studs well and truly snapped Engine moved back just a bit:rolleyes: Some random dude had some footage didn't get a close look but it was a f*cking hard hit and damn lucky not to roll. Excuse the quality of a couple of the pics as they were taken on my mobile because of the surrounding crowd. Easier to use then a digi cam. Got a couple of vids of the power skids but haven't had time to compress them yet. Shame to see the car absolutely totalled you gotta have balls to turn a landrover defender into a drag car. The Blower had a crack through it as well.- Impounded!
Agreed I was at an RBT on friday night & the p-plater behind me had 1 too many ppl in his car. By the looks of things they were working out who was going to drive the extra passenger home rather then fining him.- Wreckers In Campbelltown Broken Into & Torched
Last night was driving a mate home, heard plenty of noises of sirens earlier on when we were playing poker. Got to the turnoff from Campbelltown Road to Blaxland road and could see coppers up in the distance. Sitting at the lights waiting to turn right and a fire engine goes round me. And following him up the road he slides it through the next rounabout Get up the road further Wreckers/Metal place across from repco has a D's car out the front and is still smouldering in the yard, wreckers on Bagdally Rd across from the Ford Dealership has the road blocked off and a few fire engines putting out another fire. Then further up the road another wrecker has more fire engines and cop cars fighting another blaze. Gonna be fun getting spare parts for a while . Looks like a damn organised hit too, no sign of the perps in the area. ANyone else see or hear anything about it.- 500hp Cars And Teenagers.. Interesting Story From An M5 Forum...
Agreed to few ppl drive to the conditions of the area which surrounds them which is why things end up going pear shaped. I'm also a firm believer in not having traction control or anything other then abs quite simply it gives alot of ppl a greater sense of confidence in thinking that the electronics will pull them out of any situation. It took about a week of driving a T in the wet with TC off all the time to work out how much throttle imput you can use & when. Lets go with Darwin's theory of evolution & survival of the fittest, as said as it is to lose 4 of his mates every single one of them played a role in the incident too. No one told them they had to get in the car, any one of them could of smacked him in the chops and told him to stop being a pork chop. I remember back at school going for a ride in my mates brother SW20 Mr2, I got out of the car not impressed by his driving or the car just vowing never to sit in a passenger sit with him behind the wheel again. I'll take mates for runs in my car hell I do it regularly, but I'll never push anywhere near as hard as I would if I was on my own, and I always say when we get in that if they want me to back off just tell me and I will. - Badges On Cars
