just got this from a mate of mine............. im pretty stunned ! Former ANDRA Champion Brett Stevens abruptly retired from drag racing on December 10, leaving many wondering what prompted his decision. Sources Down Under report that Stevens began offering all of his racing hardware for sale in the Internet. However, a report on Australia’s 9 News states that Stevens was among 45 people recently arrested on charges of drug trafficking after a year-long investigation. Officials seized $6M (AUD) worth of property including “high powered drag cars,” the televised report stated. A source close to Australian drag racing told CompetitionPlus.com that all of Stevens' racing equipment - including a Top Alcohol Funny Car, five Top Doorslammers, four nitro Harleys and a Pro Stock Buell - were seized. The final sting in this investigation came this morning when officials raided fourteen properties. Reportedly, this is the first of two major scandals expected to hit Australian drag racing this year. hey all........ well as some know ive worked on my ute for a little while now and it was time to see how she went at the Wizard. all in all it was good but not good in one major way......... I had a very small fuel rail problem and it was cutting fuel out of the injectors so all I could manage was a 12.9 @ 109 mph.... 1.9 60' which is down on what it should be doing. I found the problem now and will be looking forward to going back for another go...... anyway I found a could pics of some good burnouts Enjoy !

series 8 cars are very good. just before you buy it get a compression test and make sure that the 2 rotors have at least 85 psi........ if anything less then dont buy it as it will need a rebuild ( cost could be 2500 to 5000 pending what parts you use ) they are one of the easiest motors to work on but when you have a series 8 you have alot of piping work from the air conditioners and also if its twin turbo all turbo piping. gearboxes are pretty much builtproof but do get a good clutch ( pref a twin plate ) best advise I can also give you is warm up procedures......... on start up at least 5 mins and cool down after a flogging of at least 5 mins. on the turbo if you can........ take off the air filter and make sure you dont have too much turbo shaft play........if so then it could be expensive when a impellar blade breaks off and goes thru your engine...............nasty stuff ! reason im replying here is I have had rotaries for the last 25 years and I still do currently have a 84 Rx7 series 2 drag car so I thought id give a bit of a heads up. sorry everyone that was behind me it doesnt look as bad as I thought....... looks like ive split a oil cooler line. I pulled up at a servo and oil was pissing out the front where the oil cooler sits so not so bad after all. im pulling the bar cover off today and having a closer look. the only bad bit was the tow home.......... $600 bucks oh well life goes on......... cheers to everyone that turned up............ was a great gathering ! Just got my ute back this afternoon. I have to say it's a huge difference now to before. Looking forward to the cruise
