Hey guys - just need your opinion on suspension. I have a BF Tornado - stock standard. Thinking about lowering it? here are the questions: Do you guys think the Tornado need lowering? I like the ride of the car currently, so if I do lower it will the current ride be sacrificed? I forked out big bucks on my last car with Eibach and Koni suspensions. Car looked great and cornering 100% improvement, however I didn't like the ride (bit stiff). Let me know. Ta in advance

Most audio shops will have premade boxes for utes either 10" or 12". I bought one a few weeks ago with a 10" Hertz Subwoofer. Fits perfectly (as well as hidden) behind passenger seat. No need to secure as the weight and carpet surround should hold it in place. I will try and get some pics for you. Camera still out of action. My amp is located under the passenger seat.

Hey Ritzy - it's really not that difficult. I'm as lazy as one gets with no wood working experience but I bought some chip boards - glued/screwed them together and asked a friend (audio installer) to carpet the boards in black speaker surround carpet. Approx $20.00 in total. I saw a guy who made his partition in polished jarrah. Expensive but looked great.

Hey I reckon it looks great. It deceived me. Problem is every young bogan will want to take him at the lights. I've had my Tornado for a month and have noticed every man, dog and his Expensive Daewoo wants a a run. More often than not , I'll let them go - not worth it. Boy I am getting old!!!!

You can buy these radars almost in any Audio Shops - Alberts. I think they're still pretty expensive from what I remembered approx $8.00. (try the Quoka) They're great!!! and will alert you + give enough time for you to slow down - ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TOO FAST over the speed limit. Depending where the the multi and laser is held, your car speed will dictate your car's approach to slow down before being warned by your radar.

"When u skip a track it sounds like a 'chirp' into the next track but the sound is staticky (if that word exists) Again not too bad just a bit annoying...." I too have the same problem when changing tracks. The Audio sound guys told me it had to do with the original/standard Ford Deck. They said a Line level converter may solve it, eventhough another sales guy(who sold me the amp) told me that my amp doesn't need the line level converter. Go figure? other than that my upgraded system sounds fine.

Any you guys ever used the bonnet protector on the BA/BF. The clear plastic ones that are sold by Ford. It doesn't seem to cover much. How effective are they and Do you guys think it looks ugly? I'm thinking about buying one. Thanks

Found small rust next to door seal out side of my car. Car is 2006. Never been in an accident. It seems like bit of paint has scratched/chiiped off and rust developed . As I said very small (it resembles a small stone chip than anything else). Do I need to be concerned about it. I'm hopeful the dealer will fix it under warrantly , but because it such a small job I was wondering what is the best way to fix it myself or prevent the rust spreading. - probably too tight of a squeeze and small to sand off as well. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys - I just bought a paint protection kit called TOUGHSEAL. There's two parts (two 100ml bottles) enough to do 1 car, as claimed It suppose to last 5 years. I will apply it on to my car this week. Has any one used this product? I was told to wash my car with dishwashing deteregent first to get rid off any prior wax, however I'm a bit cautious about using dish detergent due to their abrasive nature. I didn't want to spend more money on their car shampoo. Do think it is safe to use dish detergent. ta

Hey guys - Could someone tell me if those carbon fibre panels inside our Tornados and Typhoons are real or fake and whether Ford makes a kit for the rest of the interior panels. It just looks a bit strange especially on the doors where the door handle insert is silver and the panel insert on the door is CF. Cheers!!

I've got one with the bulge and wing. I don't particularly like it. I'm am keen at getting the one with the sportsbar (no wing). Do you guys know whether it's easy and possible to take the hard lid off the ones with sportsbar.

Hey guys - What do think of the new hard cover with sportsbar. Alot of motor journalist don't like them. I'm thinking about getting them installed on my ute. I know they're expensive. I just want to konow what Ford fans think of them. Ta
