not really painted but did the carbon fibre look with the 3m wrap..got sick of the silver

I bought one with the booster kit from Ford. Sound is passable but you can still hear hissing and whinning sound. I think I may have damaged the wires from pulling the cable as connection cuts out often. In hindsight, should have saved the money and maybe bought an after market head unit.

Went into a Repco store to buy a bottle of fully synth Nulon (seems to be popular on this site) for a BF Tornado to try out ; however the guy informed that they've had problems with the oil (bad feedback, hard to sell and Company call backs/returns)... don't know if he was just making it up and trying to sell me Castrol.Just want to know has anyone had problems with Nulon engine oil in particular the fully synthetics.

Hey guys.. would be keen to find out and see pictures of what others have done to custom mount their gps on their ba/bf.I've seen one convert the clock to a gps mount.. I have the gauges (fpv) on my therefore no clock cup. I don't want the windscreen mounts as the suction caps are stuffed on my + they keep coming off.. sorry if this has been covered but search function not working..pls direct link if this issue has been covered.

Better ask you guys first... how to remove the FPV boost gauge pods. Is it just simply lifting off the complete plate or do I have to unscrew other panels? Cheers in advance.

Hey guys.. need some help to hard wire a 12v cigarette unit as a second source for radar detector or gps.I will be using the original unit for ipod. I want the unit to be active when key is on , but I don't know how to install it. On the net there is a device called "add a circuit" which is a plug and play harness but not available in Perth. Would some one be able to instruct me what to do. I'm no expert so I won't know what fuse to use and what power the radar/gps will be chewing... all I know is that there is a red and black wire coming out of the 12v cig unit. Cheers in advance.

I've seen some people attatch their gps to their ford phone cradle. I like most probably have thrown the cradle in the bin or ...this seems like a good idea. ok update.. fter driving for awhile the aircond compressor stop spinning. I let the car cool down and a/c returns back to norm for a while then problem starts again. Seems as compressor cuts out when in hight temp.Would this be a computer fault or has the compressor shat itself.

Hey guys I have a 2006 BF ute. I'm after some advice. Last few days I've been having an intermittent problem with aircon not blowing cold air. It will work fine and after a while it will stop blowing cool air. It is a intermittent problem as it will fine one day and the next no. Fuse ok , fan works .Got the gas check and the sparky says that level is ok. There is no leak and or water coming into cabin. Anyone had this problem?

Hey Antisocial.. now that it has been awhile since the makeover. Have you encountered any other problems associated with the vents and is there anything you would modify/change beside what you have mentioned. I'm going to have a crack at it before x-mas.

How do the supervisors assess that it was their reponsibility.. I.e did one of the mechanics own up and if so they therefore knew it had happened and dishonestly took the chance of returning the car to the owner hoping he/she wouldn't notice.
