Anyone know of any late BF F6's (either Phoon or Tornado) with ZF6's selling for good money in Perth at all? Trading up has crossed my mind a few times in the last couple days!

Good to hear its a boys trip... I would never, never take a woman to Pattaya! Ever!! You boys are going to feel like a younger Brad Pitt in Pattaya. Anything goes in that place! I went with 6 of my good mates a few years ago... Awesome times! I played golf on my last trip just for the novelty of it. It actually isnt that cheap all added up with hire clubs and a caddy, but still well worth doing. Humidity is a killer on the course though - dont think iv ever sweated like that in my life! Rode plenty of scooters & tuk tuks pissed, shot a few guns (never the AK though - would love to spray one, done the bungee jump thing and bought many a bargain... Havent had a chance to do any of the other stuff though! Should be a good trip... Im jealous, big time!

You should have sent the cat back to SMB and got the newer 5" 100 cpsi cat. It is 40mm longer (would have bolted straight up) and is a revised improved cat. The design minimises the chance of the substrate coming loose or distorting like the older 4" 200 cpsi cat. I will be replacing my melted / blocked 4 " SMB cat with a 5" in the next couple of weeks!

I use a Plazmaman 1000hp cooler and im pretty happy with it! No complaints here... Plazmaman, Process West, RAP1D and the Nizpro coolers are probably the most commonly used and proven round here.

Was you driving through the city on Hay Street yesterday Ross? Saw a white FG ute (only saw from behind) moving pretty quickly. Heard turbo, didnt hear gate though!

Oh boys, im all for the guy coming out with a monster and proving us wrong... You have to admit that chasing an 8 is a big target though. We all know that it is not going to be quick nor easy for anyone to set up a falcon to run an 8... Especially keeping it as a daily!

Be careful with the Motec - you and the mad scientist might have to rip apart the block and replace the piston rings that you fried!

I have been told that an FG block will retro fit to a B series vehicle, but due to engine mounts a B series block will not fit in an FG. Im sure if you really, really wanted to fit it, with enough FG parts (Plenum, fuel rail, head, exhaust manifold, turbo setup, sump mods etc.) you might be able to make it work. If not, send me a price on the Atomic bottom end... Pending price and if its all ok (not damaged from your accident), id be keen!

There is a build thread on it in the 500+ section. Awesome looking car, wheels look very average though. If he got some nice wheels on the thing, it would have to be up there as one of the best 6T packages around... I thought it only made 567rwkw?

In what sense is it making less noise than it used to? You realise that a plumb back BOV is not supposed to make a noise right??

Yeh, it is a BF but it was built pre 06/06... Didnt have the F6 bottom end, still the weaker BA rods! Devo about it too!

Secret... Nah - just a plenum, new cat and surge tank. Few wanky covers stuff under the bonnet too. Should keep me happy for a little. Iv gotta treat the BA engine well too though, so not pushing it too far.

Daily drive and 8 seconds in a late model falcon just dont sound right to me... Although we know / have been told that Gtech / BEV and Kent with his 9 Sec ute / Spiro etc can be driven daily, you could hardly call them daily's! If you have a look at what is actually required to make an 8 or some of the detail in the above mentioned builds, I think you might move the goal posts a little... If not, I hope you have a steady stream of Coca coming in from Colombia! Best of luck with it though! Let us know when its done...
