My car has been sitting in the shed since 5th march and I wont be retreiving it from Adelaide until christmas. I hope no damage will be done to the motor. I hear different veiws on the 'Bores will rust' or 'the motor will seize'. I might talk to Brad from Atomic and see what he says.

My car will kick out sideways at 100k/hr if I clutch it. Standing start will spin through all first 3 gears! With good tyres and a carefull foot I can get traction in 2nd if I short shift into 3rd and allow torque to pull the car.

Gives me the sh$ts! Especially when you throw 15k at it. What can I say the mod bug hit hard!

If they stand up to the punishment and are reliable I would purchase a set!

My car has been egged down the drivers side of the car. I wonder if my car could be painted down one side and blended or if the whole car has to be resprayed?

Awesome result mate! I have similar mods to you my car (as signiture suggests) made 375rwkw at 17psi on a 35 deg day( car came in with 350rwkw which equated to 330rwkw on the hot day). On a cold day with a stronger actuater and race fuel over 400rwkw is attainable!

What MPH did they run? Awesome result! I can only dream of going that fast!

Why would you have a 5 speed tune in a 6 speed?

I had this problem in my car in the early days. It sounds like you still have the MK1 tune in it. The 6 speed has a solenoid lock out where the 5 speed does not. This can make it hard to select reverse, try putting in 4th then reverse if it goes in smooth sounds like air in your line if not then probably related to the above.

My coils started with an intermittant problem. After driving 1500km with a box trailer on the back every time I stand on the gas the car misses above 3500rpm (sounds like traction control is interventing) then when idling after it has that BAP, BAP, BAP sound. I will probably replace the coils with after market items and also replplace my plugs.

Cheaper to rebuild the 4 speed, depending on power and torque your after mate. Try an alternative C4,C9 or T400 they are 3 speeds but can be converted to 4 speed. That's the way I will go when money becomes available. Al's race Glides quoted 6000 for the C9 the T400 is around 10000 but you will have a bullit proof box!

Happened to my car twice about 5 impact marks where the shell shattered my paint. Monaro down the road got done also spoke to the bloke (who was massive) he thought I did it and was going to smash me! I said my car also got done he said if you find them we'll get them!

Its funny the HSV boys never learn! I gave a 6L maloo a slight head start by 3rd he was behind. They tend to keep up through 1st and most of 2nd but soon as 3rd comes and wheel spin stops they get left for dead real fast!

If you put NOS on your car what power gain could you get from your already impressive 400rwkw? I was thinking of this for my car in the future! But brakes are my next mod as 60000kms with std brakes they are F#$ed

Are these the 350mm rotors with 6 piston fronts?

Fark that's nuts! My car with near 400 on a cold morning accelerating WOT skips out sideways at 100km/h so I can only imagine what an extra 250 to 350rwkw would do Good to see people continually raising the bar for these cars. Cheers Alf

My driver side window takes longer to go up and down and the rest is mod related! Maybe if you had the coin you could trade it in on a near new BF with the ZF auto!
