  6. Great that you got it sorted and nice that you have let people know what did it for you.
  7. Have you gotten anywhere with this issue? You might try hosing just certain areas while everything is dry to narrow down where the water is getting in to cause the issue.
  8. Cleaning the ABS sensors seems like a good idea as its an easy job and you can also check if the wiring to them looks ok.

  11. generally you can just clean the ABS sensors as they tend to get brake pad swarf all over them eventually, but replacing them is just a matter of trying one etc if that's your problem.... maybe take it back to BluPower to ask about it? I doubt the tune would have something to do with it, but they should be able to easily check if that's the case.
  12. I know the car was tuned by BluPower from the previous owner. Is it possible that the tune would have something to do with it? I've read that the things to check for are the ABS Wheel Speed Sensors and potentially swap them out. Would there be a way to identify which one would need replacing?

  14. hmm, either your Vehicle Speed sensor isn't making it to the PCM or you've got other major CAN issues...
  15. I went to Supercheap on the weekend and had them scan the car for codes, and the error codes which came up were. U1900-20 = PCM - CAN Communication Bus Fault -Receive error U2514-20 = PCM - Vehicle speed signal missing or incorrect U2197-60 = BEM - Invalid data for Vehicle speed U2197-2F = HIM - Invalid data for Vehicle speed U2197-28 = ACM - Invalid data for Vehicle speed Has anyone experienced these codes and found a fix to them?
  16. If the ecu connects to forscan you can grab the asbuilt files theres asbuilt files online for nearly every BA BF FG ecu abs etc everything just search the code on the ecu sticker as mentioned and type asbuilt files and look for either pcmhacking website or another ford forum and or the forscan Australia forums its all there
  17. I literally just said I don't have the asbuilt files

  19. yeah, that's definitely a problem for an auto-elec to look at... water must be running through the sills to complete a circuit somewhere...

  23. turns on when the car is just sitting by itself?
  24. Hey thanks. I did check all this but wasn't the issue. The issue was a weired one ....after all the crap I swapped I decided to remove the pcm ..unplug the connectors and reseat the connectors/plugs. Bolt pcm back and also I added 2 new earths from battery. One to engine and one to chassis. In unsure which of the three had an affect but it's been 2 weeks since and it hasn't done the issue since. The earths are just a temp solution as I'm going on a long trip in a couple days and honestly do not want to disturb the car as it's being good since I done this stuff. So it either ra bad ground from chassis to engine....even though the strap looks good etc and clean and connections are clean or it was the one from battery to chassis ..but it's been replaced 6 months back and is clean Orr it was a bad connection at PCM Either way it may or may not show it's ugly side again. Anyone who has similar issues if suggest reseating the plugs on PCM anyway a d checking earths
  25. So whenever it rains my radiator fans turn on by them selfs . Then it also throws ect fault, put bran new battery in was good till it rained again, any ideas
  26. Hey jas98, I had a similar issue about 18 months ago with idle revving up and then down to normal when putting the clutch in before stopping. You did say you have no intake leaks, but it was the intake manifold gasket for me. I could also hear a slight air sucking noise towards the front passenger side of the engine compared to other areas along the manifold. The ECU controls the idle and was compenstatng for the extra air when the engine speed wound down to idle. It was happening both when engine was just a bit warmed up or after a normal drive too. I was able to change the gasket myself (long but not overly difficult) and also gave the throttle body and plenum a good clean. All good immediately afterwards. I had already had the spark plugs and coils changed for a different issue (lack of spark at WOT) about 6 months before, so it wasn't that causing the idle issue. Cheers, Ben.
  27. Email me the files and everything like as.build ect and photo of the ecu stickers and coded and abs codes ect I think I have a idea with how to get it all to work with this thing I'm testing rainingpistons@gmail.com
  28. yeah, wow, yeah, well done to artec for coming to the party to give you a new one
