Newbie to the boost mods on a Barra

I have a stock 06 TT and I am wondering if I can simply bolt on a 12 pound waste gate actuator without any fuel mods/tuning to the ecu etc

nah, putting a differently rated actuator raises your minimum boost and you WILL need a tune to suit it at minimum. Best to only change it when you've done other mods.

you can do heaps to a N/A one without a tune haha it's just because the boost control needs modifying if the boost level changes, basically...

I’ve just spent 3500 on all new super pro bushes through out the hole thing all new sl and ssl kings with Monroe gt shocks now I want to run 20psi on a stock ba turbo engine what will I need beside valves and head studs and a actuator with a tune 

 

And to you realy have a twin turbo barra and if so what’s it like

If you mean the OP, "06 TT" means territory turbo not twin turbo lol

lol okay then I’ll get my head out the clouds and say how much boost would you recommend for a stock ba engine if I do head studs and valve springs
