Agreed. Although the RB guys haven't really taken to the G series. They seem to favour displacement. Pretty amazing what can be done with a 62mm compressor these days though.

Haha putting an rb30 bottom end into my R33 made a huge difference to drivability!

 

It is pretty crazy how far turbo tech has come. Just because...how good would 2 g35-900s go on a barra?!

I think a g42-1450 might be enough for me, cos I already maxed out an 1120hp turba and want more.

 

Haha I'll see how @boakesautomarine goes with his new set up before I buy another unit.

Brilliant looking power generation @Tom Tucker, Great build and a all round package. The built engine is where it all gets to shine and we ( the stock bottom end fellas ) know this. 
 

I’ve just selected a new G40-900 Vband in/out in 1.06 configuration for a customer Build who’s after something extremely specific on a SBE BF turbo. I believe the G40 is really going to fit the bill for the “Built” engine folks in the 1150 spec as you’ve mentioned too ;)  Your G35 is seriously hard to go past too though and that response is second to none ! 

 

Here is the G40-900 (left) in comparison with one of my Go-To GTX G2 3582’s (right)

Can't wait to see the G40 results!

I think originally, the G40-900 with the 62mm compressor was rated at 1000hp. So it might actually be the one to go for if response is a consideration
