is it possible to get a FG xr6 turbo ute, with less than 80000K for $20k or less? would have to be a 2008 or 2009 model at that price obviously.

ive seen a few at 21K - but most are 22-25K.

should I wait and keep looking....or buy a BF series II.?

I bought a 2008 FG sedan with 78,000 for $20k exactly. I'd imagine ute would be similar

If you're willing to wait then you'll find what you want.

Took me 18 months of waiting to get my car lol

that's exactly what I want... 18 months of looking...dont think I could wait that long.

looks like you got a good deal. all on carsales are at least 22K at moment. (unless willing to buy one with a lot of K's.)

when did you buy it?

what state did you buy it in?

was it dead stock? or modded - if so, what mods?

Yea well 18 months of looking was partly cause I was still on P's and didn't have the $$ yet.

I bought it in June in Melbourne. It was an ex company car. A fair few stone chips and stuff up front but other than that in good nick. I've started replacing a lot of parts anyway ie suspension.

It was dead stock. I didn't care either way for stock or modded so didn't matter

You be hard pressed in finding one under $20k for a FG ute.. Some BF MK2s still command $18k to $20k.

Utes generally hold there value better than sedans for some reason.

If they're being advertised for 21k you should be able to knock them down to 20k.

There's an ego one on Carsales in nsw with 40,000kms for $21.5k now that you could grind down.

New guy here so hi .Question for all ,I want t buy a 07 bfxr6t or a 08 fgxr6t six speed auto as a daily driver . Want it std only a tune and kn filter ,so will the bf be as quick as the fg or no hope .Also being looking at these threads and I can not work out the 400m times you guys say these cars run stock 13.4 and slower . Why because my friend has a 09 xr6t auto stock ,we went to willowbank for a run well runs ,13.3 @ 108 mph ,13.4 @ 108 mph in sports shift then 12.80 @ 109.8 mph, 12.78@ 110.7 mph and 12.75 @ 111 .1 mph in drive ,a 13.6 stuff up . So I told another friend about this so we took his missers 09 xr6t up same times faster in drive and the quickest time of 12.76 @ 110.8 mph . SO ITS REAL TIMES . Anyway answers on my bf to fg please .thanks guys .
