I have no hoist. I'm thinking of dropping the pan one morning and then running it out to a welding place to get a plug welded in. Remaining drops and refills will be much quicker then.

but no tap = sealed for life, ford took that literally I think..

True, but my understanding is that this wasn't as good as using one of the machines at the workshop. I guess if you drop the pan enough it's probably about the same..

Been running nylon in my non turbo ZF with 330+rwkw for 2 years and no problems whatsoever.

Hi Guys,

Just did the ZF filter/Lifeguard fluid change on the weekend.

1 word of warning, the ZF fill plug is scary tight, make sure you can loosen the plug before undoing any bolts, or you will be left with no way of refilling an empty trans.
