There has to be a boost by gear controller that you can run on these cars 

I will ask my tuner next time I take the car in . See what he recommends .

You'd think there would be some kind of work around for it. The new Sprint apparently has boost by gear strategies.

How do you set that up on an auto ?

I was thinking something that reads rpm and road speed to work out what gear you're in.

Can these boost per gear controllers link to a Manual? 

 

Even with 305s 650+hp is gonna be a crunt in 1st and 2nd to hold traction.

 

Would be good to not hit full boost power till 3rd

Here's the eboost manual. You want to start reading at the bottom of page 20 for boost by gear.

 

It looks like it could work through the shifter when it is in performance mode.
