  • The realistic outlook for big power always costs big dollars, it is what it is honestly    if you're worried about spending 4.5k then you're dreaming that you can pull this off for anything

  • Lol at 400, will do mid 500 with that turbo.

Only up the road from me.

Are you going to use Joe at CMS?

Heaps of guys from here have used him and quite frankly he's the best.

NPC twin plate.

Jets looking he might chime in if you ask nicely.

Where about out are you at Rob? I was going to use JEM @ Ingleburn, but if CMS are getting alot of Barra jobs, I might give them a go this time.

haha John good point about hard to drive easy with big power!!

$4500 Jesus, the Missus would torch the car if spent that that

Yeah the whole kit is not a 1hr job,

Whole engine out and sump/front off and chains, guides, gears and what not.

Kit alone is 3ish k

I'm in Wollongong mate.

JEM is good. Kev? But like Chris said ^^^ Joe is the man up here for these cars. You got Spiro at autotech in Granville is pretty good also.

The atomic billet pump gears are that much are they?

#16

Pump gears aren't that much.

$600 for atomic gears only or around $1200 for entire pump with billet end plate and machined reliefs etc (or $990 for swap with your existing pump). Pump is a good investment since stock ones are known for cracking.

Labour is anywhere between $700-1000 depending on where u g and what option you go for - labour for just gears is higher as pump has to be stripped, inspected, gears installed and reassembled before being refitted.

The gears are roughly 450 plus fitting, but a full oil pump kit is around 3k or so.

Its on there web site

Kit as in pump +.....?

Or u mean timing chain kit

#19

What camo said rings a bell.

Either way it's worth it. Any limiter action and bang. With that kind of power it would get there pretty fast.

Yeah mate,

Pump, gears, chains, guides plus plus plus. No point doing just the gears, as the next weak point will break.
