Pretty sure you guys are going to drive passed New Norfolk. There's a good fish n chip shop there called Head Above Water. Worth a look. 

Wish I was down there already or joining you guys.

Don't think I've had a single bad meal in Tassie in all the times I've been over there

 

(oops - Queenstown last time - nothing open except a dodgy Fish and chips/chicken place - wasn't the best)

 

Have had a slight spanner thrown in the works :(

Did due diligence etc before settling on the date, checked Aidans school calendar etc - exam timetable came out yesterday (wasn't even exams mentioned when we booked) - he has an exam on the Friday and the Monday so he's no go.

Have swapped his ticket for a mate who's more than happy to come - might have another one coming as well.

So all good in the end - will just have a different passenger (or 2).

I might not be able to come :( stupid work...

Hey Rab - you're mates don't want to bring a car as well?

Afraid not - one has a low geared 4wd - other has a company car he can't really take on the boat.

 

Our mission will be to get them headed home looking up XR6T's in the classifieds

 

Will give me a chance though to jump in your passenger seat for a few legs

He's welcome in my car and in Evil's car - am pretty sure we even have spare beds to put him up in

 

I think the last cruise where he was stuck in my room scared him a bit though (people say I snore, but I've never found it a problem)

nothing scares me (except women)

 

I'm still keen as fark to come... just haven't bought tickets because I could see this project coming up... total fail of timing :(

Will be working during the trip so you and me can both setup the lappies in a Starbucks and look busy
