I think that might be where things will change. I set it up this way under the advise of my brother. 

I just suspect that is why the cpu is getting so hot.

office is still running flawlessly fyi for anyone that wanted to try that workaround

The driver to run ray tracing on pascal is out. I'm getting 60 to 80 fps with it on low on bfv with everything else on ultra at 1440p.

 

Time to pew some dudes :ARFiring:

 

Edit: same on medium. High goes to 45fps and ultra is about 35fps.
