It looks like it, so need 1 for the oil and another for coolant, surely they can expect you to have 2 3l catch cans..

So my racewars weekend was kind of odd. Had some very frustrating issues with my car that really highlighted how little time I spend prepping it. I loved helping all the boys out and getting there sh*

2 Steps are awesome. But usually involve 3 steps on a Falcon   Step One - Engage Two Step   Step Two - Break a CV joint on Launch   Step Three - Call a Tow Truck

  • Excellent summary @Ralph Wiggum   Was an awesome weekend and has just left me wanting more!!  I drove the car as I drive it on the street, made a few changes to the tune but that was about i

Looks like coffee.  How many ml,s came out.

You have it on the PCV circuit yeh??

Whats this 3ltr catch can everyone keeps mentioning about??

About 80ml, yeah on PCV with a check valve that shuts the circuit on boost. So this is from Vapours trapped at cruise. Both my cans are plumbed back in. If they aren't ie open to Atmo you'll need 3ltrs.

The rules are:

If a breather system discharges to atmosphere, vehicles are to be fitted with a catch can.

- Vehicles with a 2000cc capacity or below to be of a 2 litre variety and vehicles with a 2001cc capacity or above to be of a 3 litre variety.

There's no specific mention of coolant over flow and guys who've run previously haven't been pinged for it

The 3l catch can should just be listed for vehicles fitted with an RB engine to have 3l catch can draining back to the sump instead of making everyone else fit stupid big cans for no reason.

I was talking to Rob on Monday when I had the car in for it's 100K service and he's got a few customer cars in currently that are being prepared for Racewars.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of these fast Falcon's I've been reading about on the forums, in the flesh.

you should see the parking lot. fark it is packed with just fords. I feel sorry for the neighboring businesses as they can hardly get through.

I have to head out there soon to go and see Rob. I am wondering if this is going to be a good idea.
