There will be nothing that compares to the XR6T (for the same money)...we should've been exporting them to the US, rather than killing them off...every car maker is going smaller capacity turbo...a four litre turbo would have hit the spot for the US police departments...especially if you were talking about offering something of "sprint spec"...

It feels very wrong when they are killing off the XR6T, and our police departments are having a very difficult time trying to find an adequate replacement...both from a performance and endurance point...

That tells me the XR6T  ticks allot allot more boxes than any other car on the world stage...otherwise the police wouldn't be going through such a hard time trying to find an equal replacement...

Couldn't agree more. This "test fail" doesn't mean much. 2-door and 2-seat is not ideal for a police car, anyway.

Because we're clearly backwards... A 6cyl is just not good for displacement and proper v8 noise with live axle suspension :P

The Barra can be emission controlled just as well as the engines in the mustang, just would cost a little bit of money to comply with the "newest" standards...
