Essentially, yes, I would need a full standard system & "fix" the current mounting location(s)

Sounds like a great car. But if you don't have the funds/time/effort to get it going it's just a good looking driveway ornament. Expensive too. Unless you put it on a trailer and track the thing.

I had my reasons for buying it and selling it is an option, but I'd take a pretty big loss if I were to do that, so I'd like to at least get some value out of it.

I don't give a fark how long that takes, either. Elapsed time is not a concern for me, at this stage.
