I have just bought a 2010 xr6 turbo ex highway patrol. The car great but it seems the traction control won't turn off.

I have held in the dsc button for 3 seconds so the light comes on,on the dash,but it still limits power the same if the light is on or off.

Does this sound normal? Someone has suggested that police cars have been modified so you can't turn the traction control completely off.

This is really ruining my fun ?

What happens? You just trying to do a burnout on the brake and it won't happen?

Mine is ex police and traction control can definitely be turned off on mine......

You can only stall it up for a few seconds and it will cut power regardless of dsc. If that is whats going on anyway.

Otherwise no idea

I love when people come on here having not spent much time seeing how much technical help actually does get offered on this forum, then bag it out when they don't understand some of the long running jokes on the forum.
