Shift Lights

Recommended Posts

hahaha Well that was exactly my plan, King springs and Koni Shocks. I am sure that Pat would be able to help us out.

;)

Raband, you need to support the forum sponsors.. remember????

Well this will have to be a group buy after my tax return has been paid out by the ATO.

Sounds good - had already worded Pat up for a set of shocks once my return comes in :)

Any discounts for group packages he can put together would be more than welcome.

Add me to this one as well - shocks at least - will depend on what springs and price on them are offered. Don't want to/can't go much lower than stock on mine, but a good set of progressives that are a nice height and good price would definitely get my cash

I don't think anyone has done this yet. Both Aaron and myself are waiting for the "WA maintenance day take 5" to get this done.

I know that Aaron got his lights and then fitted them. but then he woke up.

I might have a play today.
Been trying a few different spot out. I'll at least do some shopping for parts to day.

I was going to fit mine in the STD position as shown on the website. BUT if you have any suggestions post up some pics.

Looking at the corner of windscreen and A-pillar.
Also it sits quite nice on the vent in middle dash (FG).

Also looking at putting a male/female plug on back so it can be removed.

Don't I remember you mentioning this as well Rab?
I reckon it's a great idea....one less thing for the thieves to see and try and take if it can be unplugged and thown in the glovebox.

Ok so I've run my engine bay conduit and wire ( not connected yet).

Made up the plug, reposition the wires to come out of the bottom and dressed them up with braided sleeve.

Cost for the male/female plug and sleeve was about $5 form JayCar.

In position, I may move it after it's set up and tried.
