I would say coil however plug is much cheaper if you want to trial and error.

I converted my ba from a 4spd auto to a t56, also used the f6 manual diff and everything works great.

Little update time

So at 175000kms its first major problem has surfaced

Either the head gasket is cactus or the head studs have been stretched so that now its seaping water in.

I've been far too busy to deal with this myself but while the head is off and getting new studs put in anything else I should be doing?

Thinking new engine mounts, ecolpi short block and manual swap?

if you have the spare coin and time, yep, new short motor with some nice fat rods would go a treat :P

engine mounts only if they're buggered (at least one probably is :P )

MM soo all the conrods are interchangable?

I just want that high comp life and those ecolpi pistons fit the bill

essentially, if they're made for a barra they'll fit in any barra... could be wrong though, haven't personally tested this theory ;)

High comp sounds awesome. I always think about it cos you could keep smaller turbo meaning good response while not maxing it out. Someone on here not that long ago ended up with an Na motor that he didn't actually know was an Na and couldn't get past a certain power level without pinging though. Not sure what thread that was though. Could limit power possibilities.
