As I thought, so about 320 is the limit or are there any out there making more ?

Any other turbos that spool up as quick with minimum lag that'll shove 370-400 ?

as jet mentioned it is generaly accepted that the small turbo flows enough air for approx. 320 rwkw on 98, depending on dyno used, some will only do 315 and some have recorded 330, a GTX3576 will go to approx. 350 on 98, this info is from a supplier and I have not tuned a GTX3576 yet

could you increase the compression ratios a little or maby add a slighty bigger cam? ... has to be other ways to increase power with out just jamming more air down its throat , not that id try, the gains wouldn't be great and probly would shorten the motors life. I think 300rpm more lag is a acceptable loss to gain 70kw when upgrading the turbo

A mate of mine went down the cam road in his FG about a year ago. Was quite a noticeable difference up top vs a similar car with the same setup with no cams. Car made approx 380 @ 13-14psi in 3rd gear (ZF). Idle was quite rough with the cams though and most people thought it was an XR8 not a turbo.

With the GT3576, E85 and a cam setup to give the car more legs when the turbo's power band runs out you have a great street car.

Ye see, I don't want revs, I don't want to have to drop motor to do oil pump gears and after having a dc2 type R, I have no desire to rev the nuts off a motor, I don't like the feel of it and the sound isn't my cup of tea, bit like 2 stroke and 4 stroke dirt bikes or v twin over 4 cyl bikes.

Prefer short shifting, Grunty power to high revs and long gearing.

any power increase, including cams requires more air into and out of the engine, well nitrous is a bit of an exception but still needs to get rid of the waste gasses

So, d'you suggest that a 4" shorter intake like the PW or one of those types that stainless makes are good for feeding more air in ?

they will help to max a set up but does not help the turbo flow anymore, the turbo is maxed at around the 320 rwkw area, it just can not flow anymore. A larger turbo will flow more up top but you will loose some of the punch the small turbo has, the GTX 3576r will gain you a little more due to it's efficient design but many would not consider the cost for a small gain to be worth it
