I guess if we were to kit it up, some low, wheels. etc might actually be ok..I know its a fusion but looks very similar and may pull it off?

Not trolling, rather battling my own inner turmoil between wanting the last V8, and knowing what a poor product they are. When they could have been so so good.

Comparing it with something (albeit completely different vehicle type) you said can be picked up for mid 50's? How does that make the XR8 worth mid 30's?

I'm not stirring either. Legit question - what comparable vehicle (I.e. high performance large "grand tourer" type sedan) is available for less than 50k?

Take away the Skoda for a sec. Plenty of cars that can be substituted instead of Skoda.

Having said that. I want one so bad. But I know that the interior and lack of modcons would suck. The fuel bill would kill me.

Would have to resort to ten dollar blow jobs in street corners to keep it going.
