Proud new owner of a Ford F6 ute

Gets delivered next week from Sydney

First thing I want to do is give it a tougher/ more agressive stance and lower the thing

Any advice on lowering FG utes? particularly the F6?

Coilovers vs springs?

Pro's and Con's of each

And best bang for your buck?

Thanks in advance, hopefully get a pic up once the job is finished!

It's a wonder P@ hasn't been all over this already like a fat kid on a cupcake.

Have a look around in the suspension forum, or this thread in particular for some examples.

Congrats on your new arrival.

Hey guys

Just wanting some advice

Considering purchasing a second hand (10,000km old) suspension set up for a ford fg F6 ute

Tein coilovers in front and tein shocks in rear with king spring superlow leafs for around $1800

What are peoples thoughts on second hand? and also the pricing?

I really dont want to buy a set of trouble if its risky buying second hand stuff

Any feedback greatly appreciated! thanks

Why is he selling them? That would be my major concern...

If he wrote it off, happy days. If he "just wants a change" you know your buying someone else's headache.

Although it does not appear to be the case in this thread, but I would stay away from suspension from a written off car as it is most likely damaged
