Do you work in spare parts or something? The module I have is8R2919C142A not8R2Z19C142BA like you suggest. Do you know if this would work with a different harness? If this was the case even then buying a new kit with a pocket and iPod cable may be waste. Was told this kit was out of a early 2010 but the module says 5/2008 so I guess I've probably been duped.

That module you have is a early 2008 module it should still work in your car. The only problem will be is the module might not show which is playing but that might be fixed with a software update. I have a 5/08 G6E and with the software update the module works perfect. Before it said not supported. Need any more help let me know
