  1. Happy Birthday FG_G6E!

  2. Happy Birthday FG_G6E!

  3. According to microcat 01/06/2006 BF Turbos sedans have now superseded to a FG tailshaft Part number BG 4K145K and list a centre bearing separate Part number BAF 4800 A list price $234.19 + GST. Looking at the ford workshop manual you remove the uni joint and there should be a nut holding the yoke on. Hopefully this helps you
  4. What transmission is in it ? According to the BF workshop manual it's pressed on to the tailshaft
  5. According to Microcat the FG is a complete tailshaft no components are serviced. But for some reason if you go in to the BA/BF catalog some late BF's use a FG tailshaft which you can buy a centre bearing for. What type of FG do you have I might be able to find a genuine part number for you that might work.
  6. You would have to buy a new key if people wanted a flip key setup then train the key to the vehicles BEM module. The part number for the key blank is BGF 22053 A and the remote BG 15K601 A. To replace the key itself I am looking for a part number still. All the key blanks come with the chips inside just need to be programmed to the vehicles BEM to start the car. So if u have 2 keys and the fg key is cut to your car you should be able to train the key your self to your car.
  7. If you have 2 keys already you should be able to reprogram the FG key to your car the transponders for all BA,BF,FG Falcons are the same you will just have to get a blank key replacement which I will get a part number for you. If you have 1 key only then it's a job for ford. Hopefully I have this helps you.
  8. What type of car is it for BA of BF Falcon ? Where did you buy the key from
  9. This is the first time fpv have different diff bushes from non fpv vehicles. According to microcat all fpv from 01/10/2010 have these diff bushes
  10. These bushes are not a restricted FPV part so you can get them for a non FPV vehicle. As for NVH I havent noticed any difference yet besides being alot smoother then before. And finally no more clunk in the rear of the car which felt like diff slap.
  11. On our parts catalog it's only listing them diff bushes as FPV vehicles only & the same with the ford parts system. So I am afraid you would get them awful diff bushes back in your car until Ford do finally make a supersession on them. The new part number is AR7Z 4B424 AA
  12. Ford have finally brought out a new diff bush for the late MK1 and all MK2 FPV Falcons. I had these fitted today to my G6E after having a awful clunk in my rear end with the standard bushes replaced 8 months ago . The problem has finally gone and is a much smoother car to drive. Only issue is cars under warranty cant use these diff bushes. Cost is around $64 + GST
