More people watch neighbours than speedweek. Does that make it a better show?

More people eat at Macdonalds than a lot of places. Does that make it better than them?

A lot of people bought spice girls records too, more than bought Clapton records during a two year period. Does that make the spice girls better than Clapton? Of course not.

There is absolutely no accounting for popular taste. Leave anything to the public to decide by popular vote and even the lowest common denominator gets a say, even the peasants.
