  • I disagree about not needing a surge tank. Cheaper than an engine rebuild. Good insurance IMO I have owned 3 T6s ( sedans) and all needed a surge tank for my piece of mind over 300rwkw

  • A surge tank will make sure you don't starve the engine of fuel at WOT with less than 1/4 tank of fuel. When you accelerate hard, all the fuel swirls to the back of the tank and the pump can have issu

  • BS! Bad tuner...

Looks pretty good. Speak to whoever youve chosen to tune the car and see what injectors they prefer though.

320 at the treads?

standard turbo will run out of puff

Smart mods. Just confirm injectors with chosen tuner. Go bigger if you plan on using e85 one day.

Yeh he reckons he's cool with tuning these injectors but haven't heard from him since I decided to add more mods, thought I'd ask you lads.. 320? Really? Fark I didn't expect that but yeah that sounds sweet :D lol.

Smash some e85 into it, and should be able to screw it a bit harder.

Should be awesome if you get a proper tuner :)

I always like the surge option too.

Ya's think I should change more with the exhaust?... I'm bit worried bout losing the reliability of the car ay, anyone got similar mods and power and had no problems?

#9

The standard turbo wont need any bigger then the factory exhaust with just a cat change. Also if you do to a large dump/system you will need to port the wastegate which is an added expense.

Oh righto thanks for that, might hold off on the exhaust for now then.. If I can get 320 rwkw out of the mods I've got, that'll keep me pretty happy for awhile I think lol...
