(Tues) Carried on with mocking up all the bits to support the new turbo.  Started on the top side of the dump. Was all going well till I used my thumb for the earth lead for my tig so called time

Finally finished engine bay and first start up of my new built motor today all running sweet get some k's up before tune on the 30th

Got the Ute finished today. Finished up all the wiring. Both the 044 and the walbro intank now have there own relays triggered from the stock pump wiring (inertia/roll-over switch will shut pumps off

Anyone know how to get your hoses all black and normal looking, mine look just like henz's in that pic ^ after degreasing the engine bay aaages ago. sh*ts me when I open the bonnet lol

Mine were before the degreaser made friends with them lol

Ah k cheers SDP..thought there'd only be a temporary fix. Bugger...oh well lol

I called around a few ford dealers to find them. Haven't ever seen them anywhere else, so that was really my only choice. Sadly, they'll cost you about $20 a bolt (I needed to replace all 3!)

Once upon a time someone posted an ebay link to those. Mine are all gone and have been for ages...

found one on ebay here which is the same price including postage...can't find any more listings.

I need to buy more pulleys and swap out my serpentine belt as well dude, I'm secretly very keen on DIY day but have left it up to the others to arrange details.

well being my car is still off the road for 3.5 months till I get my licence back, I pulled it apart ready for my big stereo install.

ive been meaning to get around to it for years, and have collected a bit of stuff over the time, but have not gotten around to it due to other commitments.

so today, pulled off door trims and removed previously installed components, boot is now devoid of my interim sub box and other stuff, and now completely empty and cleaned ready for sound dampening, rear parcel shelf- same.

the plan is for a quality build this time. I have done a half arsed one in this car already a few years ago, just to upgrade the factory stuff.

I have been running a 15" sub, so had plenty of boom boom, but now am after a sq system. will be plenty of custom fibreglass bits, and some tricky stuff ive been eyeing off on a us audio forum.

im starting a new thread in audio section, if anyone wants to follow the build.

Hey Shy. Buy a can of the cheap tyre shine from a place like supercheap and spray the crap out of your bay. It will look a million bucks until dust gets in there. That's how we did it at car shows

As long as you follow through with the whole build Panda Eyes and update it right to the end I'll be very happy lol. So many half finished threads here that were looking so damn good :(

Looks the goods, wanted to do mine but am worried bout high temps melting it?

I'll see how it looks in a few weeks of driving. It's pretty cheap vinyl so I don't have a lot of faith in it, but then again it withstands a lot of heat when applying it.

Yeah they seem to be a 'hard-to-find' bit. Even the ford places I rang only had 2 or 3 in stock. Considering they get hot and cold so frequently, I'm surprised that more people don't seem to need to replace them.

I can help you with the belt steve - Very easy mate. I'm assuming that the pulleys just unbolt then rebolt the new one back on... Give me a yell if you need a hand :spoton: Maybe Ciaran and yourself need to head over!
