July 19, 201214 yr #74 So since it's being advertised as a drift car.. Does the top model get any more power as it has wider tires?
July 19, 201214 yr #76 I think it gets bigger brakes though...Why is everyone so fussed about the factory power output of this car? Both Toyota and Subaru have always said from the beginning that it is designed to get younger people into their cars. They also acknowledge that anyone interested in modifying will do their own power mods. Didn't stop anyone in the past from taking a good platform and making it faster...
July 19, 201214 yr #79 I heard today there's an 18 month wait on them. They Must have only made 10 or so then In 3-5 years they may be huge if there's decent mods around, but EPA would the clincher for us Vic's. Still won't stop people though. Fingers crossed Sti Have a go at it.
July 19, 201214 yr #80 Subaru sold out 8 months worth of what they can build in three hours online with theirs.Still heaps of old Escorts out there if you want a fun little rwd car to mod
