So I thought I would fill everyone in on my horror story from the 3rd day into owning my brand new f6.

So far my car has been into for 11 times for

Rattles and water leaks in behind the dash and still are not fixed ford have told me it is to hard to find any rattle in a vehicle and they dont get paid to look for it. My air box was not hooked up to te intake pipe and due to working near 3 coal mines it filled all my intake with coal dust. Once I told ford about it they asked me to clean the pipes ad drop the car in. They cleaned the intercooler pipes and told me that is was fine an if it wasnt that I would have to wait for a problem to develope because once again they do not get paid to do warranty work.

So my car over the next month developed a rattle in the front of the motor so I took the car back with 7500km now on it to show them the loud rattle and for some unknown reason while they had the car they couldn't find any rattle.

Well my car is now 6 months old and has been in a ford workshop for the last few weeks having the motor pulled out because the motor failed. Now they are telling me I might have to pay for everything to be fixed because they are unsure of how my bog stock f6 has been driven. And that the motor could have been over revved.

What I'm getting at is I have had my car in to ford over 14 times in a period of 6 months and now it's Dead and I'm looking at a very hefty bill. I do no recomened anyone buying one of these cars and the sad thing is I had 3 people at a specific ford Delership that I should never take my car there or buy one from there very sad I even had a manager tell me to f-off and take my car somewhere else all because I kicked up a fuss about my motor being dusted and blowing smoke.

+1 for aca. they would be all over a big company like ford not honoring a warranty.

Again it's the dealer at fault, not ford/FPV. Call FPV and they'll sort it.

I don't understand how anyone could keep doing the same thing over and over (ie visit the same dealer) and expect a different outcome.

Also, not much of a dealer if they couldn't pick up a loose intake pipe as part of a pre delivery inspection. Warranty work by its very nature means paid for by the manufacturer, your dealer isn't worth pissing on if that's the sortof response you get out of them.

Name and shame.

Rattles and water leaks behind the dash smells to me like a HVAC repair issue.

Here, here bunna. I'd have long ago written a nasty letter to the Customer Service division and the President if this happened to me.

You should be a warranty repair consultant for the dealers bunna, at least you have an idea of what could be wrong. The dealers (not just Ford) just seems to stare at it at hope the issue resolves itself.
