It's a constant source of amazement to me to hear you guys say you can read ... admit it, you just look at the pretty pictures of the cars, right?

First posts must involve a pic of a burnout, forum rules I'm afraid.   When you've been around for a while you even end up with pics of people taking pics of burnouts

Way to build a relationship with a Potential new customer MT.

You sir, have very neat handwriting.

After reading, looking and asking the dealer lots of questions about XR6T, he suggested this site and am so glad he did. I ordered the car 2 days after looking at this site though wasnt the only factor for the purchase it certainly helped. The car arrives first week Aug. see signature, Its harder than the wait for our 4 children.

The good witch of the north told me bout da site :)

She had written me a letter which she had, for want of better

Knowledge, sent to where she met me down the old pub, years ago,

I was willing when she knew me, so she sent the letter to me,

Just on spec, addressed as follows, "Hocus, of The Blue Oval"

And an answer came directed in a writing unexpected,

(And I think the same was written with a push-rod dipped in tar)

Twas my drinkin mate who wrote it, and verbatim I will quote it:

"The bas*ard's gone out driving, and we don't know where he are."

The names Duncan.

A mate of mine told me about the site and I love it.

I dont currentley own a XR6 Turbo but I'm waiting for the series 2 to come out.

Can any one tell me when this might be? I'll buy one as soon as they are avaible.

I want to be the first person on the Gold Coast to have on in the Ute.

I love the site and I look forward to seeing other Keen Ford Driver like myself.

Go Ford.

Welcome Fords Glory :oohwoah:

Why not get a series I now and trade in/up whatever when the series II is available later. You're going to miss so much while you wait.

Enjoy the forum and don't believe anything they might say about anyone ... well, you know, me.

G'day,

INternet search whilst lookign for more information on the car than the dealer could provide.

ANd as mentioned by me previously, this certainly does have more info than the dealer seems to know or have access too!

When my car does arrive, ITs time for the footwell lights, the Windows switch mod, etc......

:-)

 • 2 weeks later...

Hi All,

I heard about this site through word of mouth and have, since registering, spent an awful lot of the bosses time reading.

I have had my Citric Acid XR6T Auto ( Upgraded Brakes, 18" wheels, Leather, Alarm, Adjustable pedals, Towbar, Mats and mud flaps, Premium Sound) for five weeks today.

So far have accumulated 2980 Km's, one bird, and one speeding ticket! Also establishing a fairly lengthy list of warranty problems. To name a few (which also appear in other members posts), Leaking water pump seal, squeeking (not shuddering) brakes, Poor radio reception on FM, boot trim buttons missing, poorly fitting centre console, paint off around drivers side bonnet strut mount, a few rattles the list goes on unfortunately.

I put these things down to poor assembly and pre-delivery checks, although the leaking water pump is common and perhaps a design defect.

The service manager at my local dealership (in NZ), has been given the list and within a week or two I hope to tell you all that EVERYTHING has been put right.

Happy motoring.

To change colour of your signature, go into MY CONTROLS and select the signature box. Highlight your text, than click on the colour dropdown box and select a colour. First however, if you see a and a delete those strings beforehand.

Enjoy the forum

Just a friendly little warning about this site ... you know, between you and me ... some of the moderators are better than others, not that I want to mention any names, but he knows who he is.

... you never know, he might even respond to this?

Have a great time on the site, the people here are great!
