mine was built by bta with billet shaft and it broke and had to still pay for a new shaft

Yes bomber that's correct. Not sure if duration is less or severity of spark cut is reduced maybe one of the tuner folk can explain

Torque=moment of force. Given enough power and shock loading even a billet shaft will fail.
