nick d Donating Members 1,594 Member For: 14y 11m 6d Gender: Male Location: Melb Posted 02/01/13 03:02 AM Share Posted 02/01/13 03:02 AM (edited) ^^^that's very good, that's what I was doing 2 years ago now I've gone right back to 60kg max on legs, went massive on the legs and I hated wearing jeans lol.With squats I I love the pain but I hate doing them if that makes any sense as it is a big workout.Nowdays I aint gong as heavy its more reps with a sensible weight that burns and change every 3-4 weeks.I'm taking it easy at the moment as I did lower back doing squats 3 weeks ago, not the best feeling even today doing dead lifts could feel the littlest pinch so taking it easy don't wanna do it again. What would be wrong with my form?There could be noting wrong with your form it could be anything from pinching a nerve which can take weeks to recover, try wearing a belt it will help allot with your squats.Mika -Keep doing what your doing mate that's awesome to hear your dropping the weight, before you know it you will be at a weight you yourself will be happy with.Staino- are you 88kg? Great weight in my view.My goal was to get to 90 still around 94-96kg first day back today after eating freely with all the massive family do's over the festive season along with drinking but can't complain only gained a 2 kg from not gong to the gym for a week and a half. nick d Donating Members 1,594 Member For: 14y 11m 6d Gender: Male Location: Melb Posted 02/01/13 05:33 AM Share Posted 02/01/13 05:33 AM (edited) Staino-I hear you mate, I had a stuffed up shoulder from kick-boxing10 years ago and it has never been the same.I ususally do some stretches and 1 set of 15 rep light weights warm ups just to get me started on shoulders as I still have that clicking when I move my arm (not old age lol just as never recovered).Doesn't matter how long it takes to recover don't do the mistake I did after doing mine 12 years ago go back early to train hard again after I was warned I will happen again and it did.You know your limits just takes time.Henz - me too, and I love it cause I could eat drink comfortably amongst family and friends but today its back to good eating and drinking water as usual.
