after crunching the numbers and looking into it over the last few weeks you are better off sending the box interstate for a rebuild if your keeping the car.

Hey guys keen to get my ZF box beefed up b4 it start to fade..Had my last box done by SA Race is it worth going back...What can be done to these boxes to beef them up..Rather do it now b4 I up thr power again..Hate too see it go pop and have to pay big bucks..

not sure what exactly is broken yet but something went bang changing from 1st to 2nd on full boost after doing a u-turn.

when you put it in gear the grinding is painfully loud

flexplate?

the speedo still works so part of the trans is still spinning,

sounds considerably worse than I'd expect a flexplate to sound like.

gonna start by taking the pan off and go from there... I've read some stuff on here about blockages...

lack of lubrication wouldn't go down to well I'd imagine.

remember shiftys flex plate noise after a big skid out front of Mr X's house bloosted?

I certainly remember it Allan.Got a pic somewhere of some thick black lines-they were there for weeks :3gears:

xft in wa are doing it, 2k and they take care of the transport.

expensive but good for 500rwkw guaranteed according to them :)
