Like others have said.. pi$$ off all that piping. You will reduce the total length from filter in to tb by over 2 metres.

+ you will have a result that looks, drives and sounds better IMO.

The guts of that intercooler looks the goods. What brand is it?

Naah the cars stock height wont be lowered im prolly only going to put bilsteins in it.

Its hard to see but the bars are a little smaller than the external fins. 300 high 16 bars across I think that's about average from what ive seen.

The end tanks are very small I know but cause of the shape and location and short height should have a reasonable air distribution across the cooler top to bottom. Weill have to wait till it goes on the dyno see how effective it is. But its got alot of ambient air flow going through the core either way. Big difference already, better throttle response, less lag, more pull especially mid rpm coming outta corners nailing it

Good try at the intercooler and piping etc but I think if you can lift the cooler up abit more then run the piping underneath and weld the bottom pipe into one piece similiar to the Blitz factory kit on a skyline would work well and not look too bad.

something like below but backwards.

Its great to see someone having a go, its all about trial and error. If I could suggest another way of running that cold side piping...have you seen how the AVO kit runs? They run the cold side into the passenger side and then run it across to the drivers side from inside, behind the radiator so its pretty much unseen. Maybe that would have been a better way to go, and im sure with the pipe you have, with a little mods you could do it also.

Another suggestion if you tried running the pipes the AVO style. Make the passenger side the hot side which runs to the turbo, and the drivers side run stright to the intake (cold side)

Cheers. It can only go up another 10mm or so im gonna lift it up as much as I can after its painted and back on as the cooler is so wide the silicon on the endtank outlet will hit the chassis rails. The screw bottom mount is the lowest part of the cooler and its 115 mm off the ground

Weaponxr im gonna check that out for pipes behind if I can get the pipes around the radiator with the width of the cooler I just might run em that way. Thanks heaps!

you could have spent another $100 and got a hdi kit...that piping is getho...reminds me of my skyline turbo conversion with pvc piping....

how about running the piping over the top of the cooler not under?
