Hey all, I've got a ba mk 1 xr6t making 301rwkw, it's got valve springs and retainers, full turbo back exhaust, 600hp fuel pump, xcal x3 tune, 42lb injectors, plugs, Cush button clutch, front mount, growler cai and ported wastegate with 12psi actuator. What I want to know is it as easy fitting a say, 15psi acuator on it? The standard t5 is getting replaced with the t56 to. I want to make 330rwkw safely and was after advice and info of what is done to you 330kw people on here. Cheers

Can you give some more detail on your parts?

Atomic springs, walbro intank pump , some cheap front mount, turbosmart bov, xforce exhaust, direct clutch, ngk platinum plugs, if that's what ya mean by info?? I bought it with all the mods done to it so can't get too into detail hah.

Gearbox upgrade ASAP, better cooler, nizpro/process west/plazmaman, don't need bigger actuator, should be hitting 330 as is, but with your current box theres no point, airbox relocation for fully sikness, retune, should hit 330+ easy dude

Surge Tank would be a good addition

Yeah I blew box up as is, so got no choice but to go the t56. Some random shop in cleavland tuned it before I got it . I'm gonna go to rdp to get her retuned again. So kv baby u reckon with better cooler it should hit 330, or as it is now it should be getting it. Cause I see cars with the same mods making more:(

It will probably make 330rwkw but only once, the second and third runs will show you how sh*t or good the intercooler is.

Generally most BA's see 330rwkw with 15psi on pump fuel and also you dont have to change the 12psi actuator as it will be good for over 400rwkw's.

If there's nothing wrong with the actuator then technically it should only start to open at 12psi. Leave it as its not worth the pain!

Did the seller have any receipts for the parts he said are fitted? Mainly valve springs, porting wastegate and changing actuator (you can test the actuator yourself if needed though).

Rods might let go soon too.
