Yeah it's had all rotors pads etc replaced, I stuffed a ring on my vy that's the only reason I'm thinking about it as I can't be bothered building a new engine for it. The bf is my mates car so I know exactly what's Done to it. I'd just hate to get it then have the engine or something break in it:/

Hey all, I'm looking at buying a bf mk 2 xr6t, my only issue with it is that is has 240000k"s. it's got 400hp and the basic mods. Has all logbooks and is in very good condition, are there any common problems that occur with these k"s? I'm swapping it with my vy ss and really can't afford anything to go wrong. Any help/info would be great. Thanks

Hey all I was wondering how do you use the Eboost controller to change the amount of psi while driving when you have the sct x3. What I don't understand is how you can have set the 12psi tune on the sct and be able to put 14psi with the Eboost. If it's even possible? I've tried looking for info but can't find any help. Silly question I know but I'd like to understand cheers

It's got 135xxx on it. So it's not tooo bad. And it's been running 300kw for a year now perfectly. But of course I wouldn't mind a little more. I see the guys in here running 330+ with the ba bottom end but I don't wanna risk it. So what your saying is I'd be better to beef up the bottom end in it now than get a f6 one? Cheers

mother of Mary that's alot of money. Looks like I'll be sticking with the ba bottom end for a while than. I wish it was as easy as putting in some stronger rods and be on your way but that's cars for you I guess :/

Okay so I have a ba xr6 turbo running 300rwkw@12psi. I am wondering how much roughy have you guys spent on putting a ba/f f6 bottom end in. The motor it's got in it now Is running fine I'm just always stressing about it breaking. I'll eventually want around 350kw and that will do me. So just curious on how much you guys have spent doing this. Any info would be great cheers

I have compressed ssl kings in ba xr6t and rides smooth as silk and looks good to. id recommend it if you cant afford coilovers haha

Hey all wondering if any of you have ran into this problem ?my car has tad over 300rwkw and used to get average of 10l/100km and blew the t5 up and replaced it with t56 now it is getting 15l/100km and Im driving like a grandma. Anyone know what I can to get good consuption again? Cheers

May be a silly question but wondering if you can put a t5 clutch into the t56 and also are the flywheels different. Cheers

Yeah I blew box up as is, so got no choice but to go the t56. Some random shop in cleavland tuned it before I got it . I'm gonna go to rdp to get her retuned again. So kv baby u reckon with better cooler it should hit 330, or as it is now it should be getting it. Cause I see cars with the same mods making more:(

Hah I had a go with ya in the blue xr6t. Left me standing still. Love the car. Did it overheat at the end of the cruise session. I had worse luck cause I blew the gearbox later on:(

Yeah I was thinking the Same thing bout rebuillding t5 but if costs the same+ more I'll Just get the t56, I just hope the clutch fits cause it's not barely done 7000ks. Not sure if there's a difference either. How much power are you putting out?

Atomic springs, walbro intank pump , some cheap front mount, turbosmart bov, xforce exhaust, direct clutch, ngk platinum plugs, if that's what ya mean by info?? I bought it with all the mods done to it so can't get too into detail hah.

Hey all, I've got a ba mk 1 xr6t making 301rwkw, it's got valve springs and retainers, full turbo back exhaust, 600hp fuel pump, xcal x3 tune, 42lb injectors, plugs, Cush button clutch, front mount, growler cai and ported wastegate with 12psi actuator. What I want to know is it as easy fitting a say, 15psi acuator on it? The standard t5 is getting replaced with the t56 to. I want to make 330rwkw safely and was after advice and info of what is done to you 330kw people on here. Cheers

Looks like I might go the t56, don't wanna waste money on rebuilding if it blows again. Anyone know if the clutch is the same, some people say yes others say no?

hi all, went to powercruise on saturday and blew my gearbox up, its a ba mk1 5 speed, making a tad over 300rwkw. got abit carried away on the day I spose, the clutch feels fine and when car is turned off it goes through the gears fine, but start it up and it sounds like a blender, anybody know what part I might of broken? and what would be the better option, get the 5speed rebuilt with good gear or go the t56? I eventually want 350rwkw. keeping in mind I dont have a fortune to spend. any help/ides would be great, cheers

Nah it's not wheelspin Cause u can be doing 80kph in 3rd and as soon as it come on boost it's what sounds like the limiter and it won't go past 4000rpm. Easily fixed just turn traction off everytime. Wish it was wheelspin hah

g"day, When you leave traction crtl on the rev limiter cuts in at 4000rpm and traction light flashes and when u turn traction off it's fine. Just started doing it out of the blue. Any ides would be great. Cheers

Hey I'm new to the site and bought a xr6t last week, it has been custom tuned and was wondering if taking battery out will reset any if this. Very dumb question I know but I have always had old cars so it's all new to me hah. Gotta start somewhere. Cheers:)
