MY BA XR6T

Hey guys, was a little bored so I thought id just update everyone what's been happening with the car.

About 5 month's ago the bottom end on my 03 model XR6T started making some strange knocking noise inside the motor, straight away had my car towed away to my tuner where he pulled the motor out and inspected the whole motor to notice that I had bent 2 rods that were causing the knocking/ticking noise I was hearing.

Lucky I didn't drive it for to much longer could of done much more damage. Anyway I ended up deciding on upgrading to a brand new F6 bottom end with stronger rods & oil pump gears, valve springs and some other stuff to the new motor. at the same time I thought might aswell do the wastegate modification and actuator along with a walbro fuel pump and new cooler piping and cooler. the car now is much more smoother to drive and a lot more responsive compared to my BA motor which had 175,000kms on the clock. so here are a list things that I've done to the car hope you guys enjoy it, ill post up some pictures of the car aswell. any comments questions or other welcome.

The motor is still fresh with only 1500kms on the clock now, going to put on a few more km's

then bring it back to the workshop and put some new oil & re-tune it and hopefully make some decent power out of the

new engine. hoping to make around the 320-350rwkw mark but will keep you guys posted.

Thanks mate, yeah probably gonna take the led lights off. only put them on to see how it looks.

Looks hot dude... How much did the f6 short cost ya? I agree with the others about the LED's... oh and take off the xr6 badges off the side skirts too, would look sleek as.

hahaha the lights are defiantly coming off now! dont have any pictures of the lights in the day.

and I might aswell take the side skirt badges off since the others are all off. and mika got the F6 bottom end

hey champ great effort, your car is what my car wants to be when he grows up lol. if you dont mind me askin where did u get the front bar and how much. im thinkin of gettin one of ebay but not to sure on the finish of em being fiberglass n all.

Not 100% sure, think ive seen your car at nicks with no motor in it few months back, is your final tune done?

hey mate, yeah that was my car sitting there for months!! finally got it back and now its back there again :(

and nah the final tune still has to be done...
